This is an animation I made from the porch of a rented condo in St. John, Virgin Islands. I used a Canon XSi DSLR and a 14mm lens. The super-wide lens has the unfortunate effect of “flattening out” the image. It is difficult to tell, but this was taken on the side of a very steep mountain overlooking Coral Bay.

This picture is a still from my sound video "Giseh", entirely programmed with GFA-Basic and Assembler on an ATARI computer in February 1992.
These 20 years old graphics have been realized with a screen resolution of 320 x 200 Pixels and only 16 simultaneous colors. In order to get more colors, I changed my palettes during the piece.
Two sinus waves with one harmonic are used for the X and Y coordinates of the constructions and as paths for the sprite animations.
The movie, which is one of the multiple realizations, due to some random values, of the piece, has been recorded with an analogue video system and has recently been digitized by the author.

This is a short animation for Markado Tattoo Lifestyle Convention video contest. This is my first successful attempt at animation. I also wrote the music.
