339/365. i'm trying out the role of project manager at Hood Design. my first task: a public art project in Norfolk, VA. it's a "swarming soundscape" that tells the story of the Era of Massive Resistance in Norfolk in the 50's/60's. These short animations illustrate the different types of soundscapes that can be created within the swarm.
these little vignettes are are the reason why i haven't uploaded/slept in three days. this project is going to be the death of me. being a project manager is tough.

Im Workshop werden die Funktion des Smartphones als Gestaltungs- und Animations Tool ausgenutzt. Wir lernen einfache, clevere Do-It-Yourself-Lösungen für professionelle Animationsfilme kennen. Wir gehen kreativ mit selbst erzeugten oder gefundenen Inhalten um. Und wir spannen den Bogen von formalen oder technischen Experimenten zum Erzählen von Stories und Aussenden von Botschaften.

This is the cute animation style of my azone doll Sugar. Sugar and her stealing Bestfriend, Almond ^__^ are both obsessed with FOOD. Sugar's motto is Live to Eat.

5. Her favorite type of food is Fair Food, elephant ears, funnel cakes, friend vegestables, meat on a stick, friend Oreos, lemonade shake up Galore!
6. She wants to open up her own Café one day
7. She loves amusment parks and carnivals.
8. Her favorite Soda is the Bacon flavored soda she got at a novelty candy store. :P
9. Though she consumes an obsessive amount of sugar she has had 0 cavities, teeth, or health problems.
10. She will be travelling to the Harry Potter Amusment Park veeeeery soon! :D
The Float Folks their very own Tumbler! The Float Folks - a teaser for any new Tv Show, was created by Dollars Animation graduate Monika Dzikowicz, and animation studio Malaysia by a few recent Dollars graduates and current animation students. We are excited to determine this project arrived at existence, and happy to happen to be part of which makes it happen. The Float Folks invites the viewer into an enormous amount of fishing floats the suburbs through the reed beds where everybody will get along (mostly) and the only method to travel is as simple as dragonfly or dogfish.
Float Folks is really a fun, watery world, a miniature community of slightly oddball individuals. To satisfy a few of the figures, begin to see the 90 second teaser below:
The task was created and directed by Dollars graduate Monika Dzikowicz, and also the music was composed by Dollars undergraduate Scott Benson, in line with the original song by creator Ian Foyle. Recent Dollars graduate Kris Allen did the seem design, and Dollars lecturer Alex Johnson created.
Animation Apprentice
Animation was performed by recent Dollars animation graduates Lydon Fleisig, Dave Berry, Paula Gillin and Allan De Leal, in addition to current Dollars undergraduate Kalim Momen. The work even incorporated some students from Dollars lecturer Alex Williams' online school - Animation Apprentice.

Nano Films
Float Folks was completed through our film co-operative nano-films.com, which tackles small commercial projects, getting in live client briefs for the students - along with a modest paycheque.
Probably the most effective ways in which we are able to make sure that our animation and visual effects students at Dollars find work once they graduate would be to decide to find focus on their account. This past year we launched Nano Films, a little animation studio Malaysia business making short films for commercial clients. The budgets aren't large however neither would be the films, and there's nothing beats client-facing projects to provide our students the vital experience they have to develop a effective career.

Last year I volunteered at the Ottawa Animation Festival and they had a pumpkin carving contest....
I used to work in the animation field and came to realize animators are lots of fun and crazy...in a good way... there was always a good laugh once a day.

A short (31 secs) stop frame animation exploring the protests by disillusioned young during the Arabs spring. I uploaded the animation onto social network sites to demonstrate how the internet has influenced and empowered protesters by enabling them to create a world –wide debate. The internet allows us to be connected, and this makes the world feel smaller. Constructed from cardboard and embroidery.
