I've been amused this week by the variety of letter styles on the manhole covers and the like of Rome.

Sandwich of Jalapeño cornbread with chicory slaw, seared baby morels with fried sage leaves, finished with dill pollen cream and barbecued weaver ants.

Dinner at one of our favorite restaurants in San Francisco, Farallon.

Well it amused me: the new dangleway across the Thames is suspended.

 

Cable car ... suspended. No? Just me then.

Caught a serious moment in this soldiers persuit of...keeping sanity during downtime.
