Amazon Research Center – The lodge is cozy, intimate, and even more primitive (only shared bath) compare to the main lodge. There are around 15 cabins and I believe each of them can accommodate 3 or more people. I am fairly lucky to have the room all by myself

2 weeks before Christmas I went to check my non-comping account - and found an email from Amazon for their £500 draw. This is definitely #ChristmasCovered ! Huge thanks to Amazon.co.uk for running this Prize draw.
Shown are my first purchases; Lego for my grandson and printer ink are also on my shopping list. With care, the £500 will keep us in presents all this year right up to & including next Christmas.
I only entered a few competitions this year because since March I've been volunteering at a place that makes up hampers for low-income families across South Wales. This is my first win of 2016 and is much cherished.
The Amazon Kingfisher - just after the quick dive and catch of a small fish. The top photo show the full shake dry after the fish was properly secured length wise in his beak. Shot for a River boat tour on the Tarcoles river on the Pacific side. The family made a trip to Costa Rica for the holidays and I only have about 4000 shots to get through - I will be posting more from the trip - but wanted to get something going. Will be catching up!
