I'm off on the second leg of my photo tour with my client Marty. Marty and I shot a sunrise at Vista House and the major waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge. Marty has never been to the gorge and was blown away by it. He is shooting stereo views and so has a rig set up with two cameras. Quite the deal.
We'll be shooting Mount Hood today, starting with a sunrise at Trillium.

This is my first attempt at any kind of timelapse, so please bear with me. A recent tripod purchase (Amazon Basics, $25 shipped with Prime) and like-clockwork departure of POWA gave me an idea to see if I could get some interesting night exposures at a local spot. Tonight a meeting with Amtrak presented exactly the opportunity I was looking for so I figured why not. Here is AMT 688 meeting ST POWA at Congress St in Portland. Happy to receive any advice on future endeavors and it was fun to learn!
