VdA Valsavarenche - Pont - Tignet

The image presents a breathtaking winter scene set in a mountainous landscape. The viewpoint is from an elevated vantage point, possibly on a high pass or hillside, providing a panoramic view of the surrounding terrain. A winding road or trail cuts through the snow-covered mountains, with a few vehicles visible in the distance, adding a touch of human presence to this otherwise pristine natural setting.

The mountains are majestic and blanketed in a thick layer of snow, their slopes gently sloping downwards. The foreground is dotted with trees that stand out against the white backdrop of the snow-capped mountains. The sky above is clear, suggesting a bright and sunny day.

In the background, the silhouette of more mountains can be seen under the vast expanse of the sky. The image gives a sense of tranquility and solitude, capturing a moment of quiet in this beautiful, snowy wilderness.

In February of 2023 I'd planned a trip to Turkey with a stop in Istanbul before heading to the South East. Tragically the quake hit on the 2nd day of the trip while I was still in Istanbul. In a pivot, I re-directed to Venice Airport, rented a car and then spent the remainder solo-road tripping through the Dolomites. These are the photos from that trip.

Norway is a place of endless natural beauty. Incredible fjords, winding small roads, raw tunnels carved through the bedrock and so much more. These images are from my summer road trip during 2025.
