Facing west on East Broad Street, the former two-lane alignment of US 84 out in front of the Lawrence County Courthouse in downtown Monticello, Mississippi on a very quiet Saturday night. This road is also designated as "MS 184" as well as the "Lawrence County Veterans Highway."
The downtown area of the small town of Monticello used to be a lot bigger than what it is today, unfortunately a large portion of the downtown buildings had burned down in a great fire back in the 1890s as well as another portion of the area was ravaged by a large tornado within the early 1900s. Another problem with the downtown area is it seems to be getting smaller with fewer buildings as most people in Monticello and the surrounding areas mostly go over to Brookhaven to shop and do more there as well as extending parking lots because almost everyone drives a car or large pickup trucks.

The entire composition is in a heptagonal shape hung in the center of a space with one side open, facing the corner where two walls meet, with one text poster on each wall.
the heptagon is constructed of the twelve images that follow, each day image has a corresponding night image, and both are hung back to back, in clipframes that are adapted for the pupose.
