Alignment of the peptide sequences and phylogenetic trees of members of the calbindin subfamily from different species.
(A) Sequence alignment of rat calbindin 2 (NP_446440.1), Drosophila calbindin-D32k (NP_476838.1), S. kowalevskii calbindin-D32k (XP_002735965.1), and S. purpuratus calbindin-D32k proteins (XP_781517.2). Alignment of the proteins was made using the CLUSTALW multiple sequences alignment. Dots represent conserved residues and black lines below the residues represents the presence of an EF hand domain. The phylogenetic tree was constructed from an alignment created by using the unweighted pair group method with arithmetic mean. The scale bar represents 100 times the expected number of amino acid substitution.
Checking the other side of the stick to make sure that the alignment is perfect. It will be a long scan so we want to make sure that we are tracking the X-axis orientation of the ice-core stick. With everything aligned, we are ready to scan!

Once you have an equal distance to the hubs with the steering centred, you can measure the relative distance between the front and rear of the wheel rim and the fishing line. My wheels were surprising close to my goal of 1 degree toe out either side - 8mm difference between front and back on my 15" wheels. I'd eyeballed the original alignment so had to make some minor adjustments but I was very surprised that the overall track was even close given the lack of any right angles on the chassis of go off of.
My rear toe is out rather than in but this shouldn't matter for the IVA so I'll sort that at some point in the future as it is a bit of a faff.

After a small off at Manfeild a few months ago, Fraser's supercharged, wide bodied EP3 Honda Civic is back on the road.
Once the chassis was straightened and the panels where repaired Fraser dropped the Civic off to STM to take care of the wheel alignment.

Route 66 (Alignment 1926-1959) - SE Beasley Rd.
Marsh Rainbow Arch Bridge (1923).
The bridge has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 10, 1983, in relation with Route 66 and is also a Kansas state landmark.
The bridge is narrow enough and because of the traffic on the road, a replacement bridge has been constructed. Today the road heads toward the new bridge in direction of Baxter Springs, but the old one-way road that goes toward Marsh Rainbow Arch Bridge can always be used. It was part of a compromise after a disagreement between the county and the association Routes 66 of the Kansas. The federal funds have been used for the construction of the new bridge and the county required the demolition of the old but as the bridge had been registered with the National Register, the association Routes 66 of the Kansas forbade its condemnation.

Le pont a été placé sur le Registre national des Lieux Historiques le 10 mars 1983, en rapport avec la Route 66 et est aussi un point de repère dans l'état du Kansas..
Le pont est assez étroit et en raison du trafic sur la route, un pont de remplacement a été construit. Aujourd'hui la route se dirige vers le nouveau pont en direction de Baxter Springs, mais l'ancienne route en sens unique qui va vers le Marsh Rainbow Arch Bridge, peut toujours être utilisé.
