After installing the new tires Les Schwab set the front end alignment to factory specifications. The alignment wasn't off but the wheel was not centered.

This was a rare opportunity to see Venus, Jupiter and the Moon sharing the western sky. I was planning on scraping this one because of the airplane trail but I liked how it pointed a line to the Moon and Jupiter.

[A] The amino acid sequences of PTN from each of seven species (chicken, human, rhesus monkey, mouse, rat, cattle, dog and zebrafish) are presented based on alignments determined using Geneious Alignment [76] with BLOSUM (Blocks Substitution Matrix) and gap penalties. Amino acid sequences in the shaded boxes represent those that are identical among sequences for chicken and mammalian PTN and dashes indicate gaps in the sequences. [B] The phylogenetic tree of PTN generated from alignments of primary sequences of chicken, human, rhesus monkey, mouse, rat, cattle, dog and zebrafish PTN proteins using bootstrap analysis with 1,000 replicates. [C and D] Expression of PTN in various organs of male and female of chickens. Results of RT-PCR analysis using cDNA templates from different organs of male [C] and female [D] chickens with chicken PTN and chicken ACTB-specific primers. In the ninth inning, Rays manager Joe Maddon decided to bring in RF Ben Zobrist as a fifth infielder between second and first. After intentionally walking the bases loaded, the infield contained three Phillies baserunners, five Rays infielders, one pitcher, one catcher, one Phillies player at-bat, two Phillies base coaches, and four umpires, for a total of 17 people. That's probably some kind of World Series record.
In the end, the wacky defensive strategy didn't work. Phillies C Carlos Ruiz hit a weak dribbler that 3B Evan Longoria fielded but couldn't get to home, driving in the winning run.
Shown here is a rotary broaching tool holder as held in a mill. The tool holder is set up to form a hexagon shaped hole in the block. However, the flats of the hexagon need to be parallel to the sides of the block. Therefore, a bar (or 'dog') is attached to the rotary broach tool holder spindle. A guide post is fixtured on the work piece table (shown in red). As the spinning broach holder is moved towards the hole, it will make contact with the guide post, aligning the broach for each part. Note: each time the broach is replaced, it may need to be re-aligned with the dog. More rotary broaching information is available from Polygon Solutions Inc.

I love parallel lines, alignment and symmetry. Even Michael is facing East and perfectly aligned with the boats in this photo.
