I don't have free access to fancy CNC machines, so an alignment mark is needed to know which holes match. Eventually found out it was close, but they are not spot on.
Note: the cardboard gets destroyed during the drilling process. A new template is needed for each head.
These images are from two very similar projects that I've just helped my friends with. They want to be able to hold bike frames on their alignment tables by the head tube. They both purchased used bench centers, and we had to make bull nose centers for them.
The fit up needed to be very close, so we were working to within a few tenths.
The other complication was that one of the centers on each set was spring loaded and utilized a rack and pinion to withdraw it... so we had to mill those rack gears.

He later became a mystic, was beatified by Pope Benedict XV in 1918 and was canonised by Pope Benedict XVI in 2009. For the same reason, the sword is turned down, as a sign of peace.
In the sky we could appreciate the alignment between Venus, Moon,Jupiter and Pleiades.

The bike will move during welding but not enough to be a problem. It is not an "alignment" table as much as it is a proper surface plate that I use to inspect the work leading up to the tacking. If there are errors it is in my process and I need to go and tram in all the fixtures again. This might happen about once a year and it is usually after someone was visiting and moved something they should not have and I did not catch it.
Each coach is aligned and the ride height set at the end of production. Afterward, each coach undergoes a lengthy road test for performance and safety.

Elbow Inn Bar & BBQ.
The historic Elbow Inn dates back to the 1930s when it was the Munger Moss Sandwich Shop. Built by Nelle & Emmett Moss, the business was moved to Lebanon in 1946 when old Route 66 was realigned through Hooker Cut. This was once the deepest rock cut in America. The Devil's Elbow segment was bypassed when Route 66 was realigned in 1942. (2)

I borrowed a set of Dunlop wheel alignment gauges from work to accurately set the toe angle. This was done after adjusting the castor / camber (see following photos).

Alignment and phylogenetic analysis of SUP-like genes.(A) Alignment of CsSUP and SUP-like genes. The amino acid sequences of CsSUP, Csa001112 and Cas010435 in cucumber, AtSUP and RBE in Arabidopsis, NtSUP in tobacco, PhSUP in petunia, SlSUP in white campion and Os05g0286100 in rice were aligned using ClustalW in the MEGA5 software package. The black and gray areas indicate identical and similar amino acid, respectively. Zinc-finger and leucine zipper (LZ)-like domains were indicated in black lines. The DLELRL domain [15] was showed in red box. (B) An unrooted phylogenetic tree constructed using the amino acid sequences of CsSUP, Csa001112, Cas010435, AtSUP, RBE, NtSUP, PhSUP, SlSUP and Os05g0286100 based on the neighbor joining method. Branch length is proportional to evolutionary distance.

Kind of a happy accident, I was packing my camera into my car and looked up and there they were, I'm so glad I packed my tripod in my car that day. Redipuglia (GO), from the Slovene “sredij polije” that is means middle earth” is the greatest Italian Military Sacrario realized by the architect Giovanni Greppi and Giannino Castiglioni. Inaugurated in 1938, it guards what remains of 100.000 fallen of the Great War. The work, realized on the slopes of the Mount Six Busi, theatre of many battles in the first phase of the Great War, is made as a military alignment with to the base the grave of Duca of Aosta, Commander of III the Army, on each sides the graves of his generals. The graves off all 39.857 dead body identified (or what remains of them) are disposed on 22 big plans. Each one is named and reports the dates of bith, death and the military degree. In the last one plans (the upper part of memorial), in two large common graves, the 60.330 unidentified fallen rests.
The great mausoleo has been realized in front of the first Cemetary of War ofl III^ Army on the Sant'Elia Hill that today is one risen of in the open air famous museum like Park of the Memories. On the top of the hill a fragment of roman, coming from column from the diggings of Aquileia, celebrates the memory of the fallen of all the wars, “without distinction of times and fortunes”.
