More mockup I just trying to get the lines even on this thing. I had to add some round tubing to the front the door to get it right. I noticed at car shows the doors were always problem areas.

If you look at satellite photos of the area, it's interesting how clearly this old right-of-way stands out.
Cut, soldered, and tested my first milled PCB today. Everything went
smoothly and I think I have the hang of it. Getting good clean tracks
came down to mounting the copper board securely. Alignment is
critical. If the boards height is off by a 1000th of a inch I get
uneven cut depths with burrs in the copper.
Almost done.

With Dduallt station and 'Deviation Bridge' just insight, this was the original alignment of the Ffestiniog Railway between Dduallt and Tanygrisiau, before the building of the 'Great Deviation' route to raise the level of the line above Tanygrisiau reservoir.

A long view, shallow depth of the row of fencing that divided East Virginia Street as a boulevard to create two lanes along the south end of the high school complex. The previous image shows one of the panels of ironwork that make up the slanted bars. In this image you barely see that the sections with the slanted bars are alternating with cutout panels in light yellow-green.
I'd just run out of card space on my camera with the zoom lens, so here I had a 100 mm macro lens on the other camera and tried to see what would happen. I like this image in a large view, for the shallow depth of field is interesting in the focal point midway and centered.
These images are from two very similar projects that I've just helped my friends with. They want to be able to hold bike frames on their alignment tables by the head tube. They both purchased used bench centers, and we had to make bull nose centers for them.
The fit up needed to be very close, so we were working to within a few tenths.
The other complication was that one of the centers on each set was spring loaded and utilized a rack and pinion to withdraw it... so we had to mill those rack gears.

A view taken from Station Road, Mochdre in February 1984 where a brace of Metro-Cammell 2-car units was recorded working the BR Table 83 12:55 Llandudno Junction to Crewe. The train is running on the new track bed alignment installed to cater for the construction of the Landdulas to Glan Conwy [Colwyn By-Pass] section of the A55 North Wales Expressway.

Symmetry features heavily in the architecture of the beautiful Angkorian temples, the largest of which being the magnificent Angkor Wat, a microcosm of the Hindu universe.
The moat represented the mythical oceans surrounding the Earth, the concentric galleries represent the mountain ranges around Mount Meru, and the temple complex is crowned with five towers arranged in a quincunx, the mythical Mount Meru itself.
The Angkor Wat is one of the prime examples of classical Khmer temple architecture. The pillars line the long galleries adorned with intricate bas-relief, depicting various scenes from Hindu mythology.
This alignment in northern Boone County was left behind when a new bridge was built. The old bridge is gone.

Tree lopping and removal has commenced along the alignment of the future line.
These shots were taken in Alison Road at the point where the Randwick Racecourse station will be constructed.
This alignment was also forms part of the route of the former south-eastern lines as they made their way towards Randwick, Coogee, Maroubra and La Perouse. After the closure of the former tramway system in February 1961, the tracks were removed, the formation landscaped and trees planted.
There has been a level of local opposition to the removal of the trees, with some protesters going to the extreme of chaining themselves to the affected trees overnight, police quickly moved them on.
I saw one solitary protester during my short visit!
