If you see carefully (they all are looking in one particular direction), these gazelles are alerted. Thats because a cheetah was nearby. Any minute now, they are ready to run away. And they eventually did, before the cat could even come close - curtsey : the jeep circus.
Lukcy gazelles, poor cheetah.

Could this be dinner coming? A snowy feast whilst I am not able to get out and snap whilst waiting for a new car and recovering after my traffic accident.

After climbing many steps, i reached a sitting area of a relaxed atmosphere. There were only around 4 people. I approached somewhat slowly and quietly. It was good that i did too, because i was then able to capture this dog napping.
But what happened right there and then was quite exciting. The dog's ears shot right up about 4 seconds after shooting this picture. The next moment, the dog had darted. It was chasing another dog which had just approached on my left hand side. This dog was alert while sleeping!
This is the look of a dog who heard the refrigerator door open and is using her ears and nose to determine if the cheese drawer is being opened (cheese, yummy cheese!) or her hot dog container is being taken out (she gets her medicine stuffed in hot dog slices). In her younger years when I'd close the fridge door she'd just magically be there, making me wonder if she was using wormholes to silently move from wherever she was sleeping to the fridge.
When I walk her and see how much she smells and hears that I can't, I can't help but ponder how much of the wonder of the world I'm missing even though it is literally under my nose.
