I think I may have taken street photography a bit too literally! I pushed the ISO as low as it would go and stopped down to f/20 to try and capture the motion of the cars with a slower shutter speed. That camera chose 1/4s which I think is the limit I can handhold a shot (with the built-in image stabilization, make no mistake!) at 17mm. This was the first picture I took of this scene and just like always it was the best of the bunch. I really love how the subjects are just poking at the edges of the frame.

Kodak Pony 135 (model c)

Kodak APS 400 (expired)

May 2020

My latest attempt at using the Kodak Pony 135 creatively: Shoot a roll of APS film though it. Why not?

I was given a roll of expired (no clue how old) APS film and decided to try shooting it through the pony. I pulled the film out of the APS cartridge and wound it back into a 135 cartridge and taped it to a 35mm leader to help get the film started. I knew this would work since the pony's shutter isn't connected to the film advance.

Do to the covid crisis I don't have access to the Nikon film scanner I usually use, so I have been doing DSLR scanning. This works well for BW and E6 film, but c41 film is much harder due to me lacking software like negative lab pro. So, its hard for me to know if the weird colors here are due to the film or my lack of competence in getting nice positives from DSLR scanned c41 film. Either way, I am glad to share another fun thing you can do with the Kodak Pony 135.

Thanks again to the film lab at Gene's Camera in South Bend, IN, in this case especially for accomodating such an unconventional request and still only charging me $5.

Temporarily addicted to creating new looks with the Akeruka Advanced mesh head, though I probably got it out of my system now. Deets on the blog:

Well it was cool to film Fletch in the old C605017 (You can still see the Veolia numbers on the cab). Got a good 9 minutes of footage in 4k with the iPhone 6s+, takes AMAZING photos and video!

This is an update on my AWS team from a couple years back. Its taken me forever to get to this point, because my focus is constantly shifting between this, Dreadnoks, Iron Grenadiers, & Star Brigade. I still have 7 more guys to finish for this set, but plan to make myself stop after that! Lol

Here is an Advanced Disposal Pete320 CNG with a McNeilus ZR collecting garbage in the City of Cudahy. Cudahy has a lot of different garbage carts. They have Toter EVR1, Ultra-Kart, Heil Cart, some Cascades branded Veolia, they also have Otto Classic bib-less. I got some video of this truck but I don't know if I will put it on YouTube because it was hard to keep up with the driver and to know where he was going next.

A view of a once-grand home falling into ruin, surrounded by a field of grain not yet harvested. I think the main entry door is on the other side of the building, under the pointed arch and round window visible from this perspective. This image taken north of Grenfell, Saskatchewan, in late September.

Hard Drive, Talbot and Stalker go to gather intel on a Cobra POW camp, but Hard Drive worries about Stalker's intentions - "Remember, we're only going to take pictures, not engage the enemy.". Silently, Stalker disregards Hard Drive's sentiments.

My real #kaiju6k contest entry! I decided to go classic style with both AD&D original classes and 80s/90s minifig pieces (mainly). It was a fun challenge working with my older parts, I'm definitely happy with how they came out!

I will be on leave tomorrow my friends.. Visit your Streams next week... Thanks...

Finally getting clear of the sharp curves of the mountains, the Provo-Denver exists the east end of Barbara's Gulch. The train will not be able to speed up much, however, as the signal is displaying an Advanced Approach (flashing yellow) aspect. The reason being that the train is taking the siding at Leyden to tie down. The crew will be picked up by a van and a relief crew will take the train in to town later in the day.

I did this because all the equipment involved was cheap and easy to get, but it sucked. It wasn't worth it. Here's my blog post about it.

Truck Numbers 221502 and 241565 Advanced Disposal Of Muskego, WI

This Advanced Disposal front loader pulls out of their Rolling Meadows division, which is a subsidiary of the Northbrook yard. However, it used to be considered a subsidiary of the Melrose Park division, so it hosts a unique fleet of trucks.

In an effort to replace an aging fleet, this truck hit the road late last year, replacing a Mack MR Heil.
