Winter nights and Christmas lights.
Putting up Christmas lights in the UK started with candles on German-style Christmas trees popularised by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in the 1840s, but electric lights for trees became established by the 1880s-1890s, with early electric "fairy lights" appearing in public buildings like the Savoy Theatre (1881) and on trees by the early 1900s, becoming a widespread tradition as electricity spread in homes post-WWI

an old abandoned factory, perhaps Colt Firearms, in what remains of the Industrial Village created by Alexander Hamilton 1791 in Paterson NJ using the waterfalls as power.

Droneuary? Anyone? Made these drones with some custom stickers and came up with a cool combo to go with them.
Red-tailed Hawks vision is 8 times more powerful than a humans. These guys have five times more visual sensory cells per millimeter of retina than we do. They can also see colors in the ultraviolet range.

Strange little creatures are appearing everywhere around the world and people are mad for them.
Countless persons walk around the planet using the app on their smartphones, at least when the servers are not down, to locate the prized creatures.
As the euphoria for the phenomenon spread fast, in the Brick Universe a research team composed of the several of the most illustrious scientists is assembled to study the creatures in detail.
Do you know which “little creatures” I’m talking about? Well, it has become a world wide phenomenon hehe :)

The Advanced Passenger Train programme was all about creating a world beating tilting train for the future, without having to spend billions on new dedicated track for high speed running. It should have followed in the steps of the HST, and put the UK in the forefront of railway innovation. It was scrapped, and the technology sold to the Italians who produced, the Pendolino! Scrapped by a government who lacked backbone and vision, and a hostile press who excelled in the maxim of not letting un truths get in the way of a good story. Nothing new there then, you may say? During its short life in scheduled service, No. 370003 speeds through Lichfield Trent Valley with a Glasgow Central to London Euston service on 19th April 1985. Trying out a little bit of creativity where one finds a unique perspective on a common scene. In this image, the introduction of intentional camera movement (ICM) of panning down while the shutter is open allows you to "see" a traditional scene in a different way.

I've made a shape for the Akeruka Advanced M09 group gift mesh head. This head will not be part of the Akeruka range once the group gift period has ended on July 15th.

Another member mentioned visiting an abandoned stone house north of Sintaluta, Saskatchewan. There are several in that area, including this one. I've posted a few images of this house in the past, but here is another, taken in early August, shortly before harvest.
An integral part of peace-keeping on most of the colonies, the urban riot control walker was designed to swiftly quiet down any signs of unrest. Commonly known as Oxen, it is equipped with two twin-barrel granade launchers and an advanced monitoring system for facial recognition. Despite its bulky look, the rotating treads make it very maneuverable.
So this is my entry to the first responder category for space jam. Had a lot of fun designing this thing and took some inspiration from variuos awesome sci-fi builders out there (Oscar to name one). Hope you like it and make sure to check out the other entries in the Flickr group, there are plenty of good stuff there.
