Pre-construction Phase: first floor. All of the old furniture and built-in units have been removed from the 'Bushell' room (revealing some unusual graffiti!). Carpeting has been pulled up to check the condition of the floor and holes have been made in the walls to check for asbestos.
This room will be refurbished to make it a pleasant, fit-for-purpose meeting room and learning environment. It will include new furniture, interactive whiteboard, better storage facilities, better lighting and heating and improved decor
The fanlights have been unblocked and will be glazed, to let more light into the building and the classrooms
