The screen at the top of the stairs to the second floor (on the left in this photo), will be replaced. At the moment, the door opens straight onto the stairs which is dangerous. The new screen will create a landing area before the stairs are reached.

The second floor corridor has been widened so that it is suitable for users of large wheelchairs.

The courtyard was crowded with miscellaneous outbuildings - sheds, portacabins, bin storage, etc. This needed to be cleared in preparation for the new extension and courtyard garden area.
