Arrived very early but there was a thick fog. When it cleared I had an hour to find my target species. Not the best shots but it was nice to see these butterflies.

Mixed series of three. Chalkhill Blues were everywhere and amongst them was this female Adonis Blue. The only one I saw with wings open.

Marco Antonio Prestinari. Adonis was the mortal lover of the goddess Aphrodite in Greek mythology.
