This is the first time I have not set up the camera for night photography tonight since January as I had an electrical issue that meant that my batteries were not recharged in time. So, I am posting a photo taken on Wednesday of two Adonis Blues, male on the right, female on the left.

Another sunny day, so another afternoon spent on a chalk grassland and woods in Kent. Lots more orchids and butterflies seen - bring the total to 13 types of orchid, and at least 18 types of butterfly or moth.

Tommy Li and Gym Boy side by side. Tommy is definitely my favorite. Seeing them next to each other, clearly Tommy's slightly larger face is much more in keeping with the proportion of his body and I like.
