It was a very windy day so photographing these on the plant was difficult but they were very fond of walking on my hand and arm!

Perfect afternoon for a walk on a chalk hillside - wild marjoram flowering, and absolutely masses of butterflies flying.
Not sure if this one is common or an adonis blue? Think there might be a hint of black lines on the tiny strip of upper wing that is showing, so I'm leaning towards adonis.
My beautiful Adonis is the most special of my five cats. When he was a baby, he would stop playing with his brothers and sisters when I would walk in the room and come right up and stand in front of me. He is the most affectionate of my five cats, he can retrive toys, and can jump from the floor into my arms in a flash. When ever I get my camera out, he is the first one to start posing!!.
