Actually, they are now gone. I took this shot over a month ago. I'm trying to get the hang of HDR and this is the best result so far. This is a tone map of a RAW file and not multi images.
Actually not an active part of my collection, rather a prospective head donation source for my "Rei in test plugsuit" resin kit conversion. But the SEGA figure's head truned out to be too small, so I took some pics (for an well-knowen online auction platform) and will sell the figure soon, since I normally do not collect this kind of items. But for the gallery, it's O.K. ^^
Actually as one of my photography buddies said on the weekend "I'm sick of waiting". What are we sick of waiting for? Spring migrants to show up and more interesting subjects or I should say atleast different subjects to photography.
Here is a shot of a Coot I took over the weekend.
Actually, >>pushes glasses up on nose<< the daddy-long-legs is not a spider.
As you can see by his vigilant stance on the garden trellis, I have him well trained to guard the tomato plants.
I actually seldom feed them in the sense of putting them all in front of a big pile of food but I do keep their habitat full of worms, slugs and assorted insect snacks so they are hunting for their food when they are hungry.
Today, I'm trying my hand out at B&W. In my humble opinion, B&W photography is one of the toughest photography style to get right. It is so simple (just two shades) but yet so hard to get right.
In anycase, the main subject of this B&W study is actually a shot of my home, but framed and inverted via the drops of water on the branch. I know, very subtle, and unfortunately, I don't have a true macro lens, this is as close as I could get.
No matter, this is the only semi decent shot I had today, so, I have to use this regardless.
Hope you enjoy it.
Actually this old D1 still works, if you ignore the inability to work with G lenses as something failed a while ago.
This is actually a new car park being built in the heart of Sheffield at Arundel Gate. It has picked up the nick name the 'Cheese Grater' and 'Sugar Cube'. People seem to love it or hate it....I have yet to make up my mind (maybe its because I dont drive).
...actually, high-knee stepping is a defensive reflex signaling: "I can kick, you know" and the curled tail is a flash of light-colored underside to signal "danger" to other deer...all provoked when I stepped to the edge of the deck to get shots of them napping. She soon recognized me, realized Mom hadn't stood up, and calmed down.
