Actually, No. The road has a slight rise and then turns left, leaving these beautiful rocks safe from cars and Merrie......

Actually this was another of my "signs" that the cottage in New Orleans was just the right place for us! I have been a marble collector for many years, and I am STILL finding marbles there in the backyard!

Actually 12+12, but only 1 trip around the dial. Multitude of other functions too, and still kept operational after ca. 500 years. Solothurn CH.

Formerly RCA Building, then GE and actually I heard it is the Comcast Building... a classic in the NY architecture.

30 Rockefeller Plaza is an American Art Deco skyscraper that forms the centerpiece of Rockefeller Center in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Formerly called the RCA Building from 1933 to 1988, and later the GE Building from 1988 to 2015, It was renamed the, Comcast Building on July 1, 2015, following the transfer of ownership to new corporate owner Comcast. Its name is often shortened to 30 Rock. The building is most famous for housing the NBC television network headquarters. At 850 feet (260 m) high, the 70-story building is the 14th tallest in New York City and the 39th tallest in the United States. It stands 400 feet (122 m) shorter than the Empire State Building.

The building underwent a US$170 million floor-by-floor interior renovation in 2014. The renovation included new Comcast signage atop the building; new ground-level signage that reads Comcast Building; and, for the first time, the display of the iconic NBC Peacock logo on the building's exterior.

The building is one of the most famous and recognized skyscrapers in New York. The frieze located above the main entrance was produced by Lee Lawrie and depicts "Wisdom", along with a slogan that reads "Wisdom and Knowledge shall be the stability of thy times", from Isaiah 33:6 (KJV). The vertical detailing of the building's austere Art Deco facade is integrated with a slim, functionally expressive form. The present exterior is recognized for the Comcast logo with the NBC peacock at the building's top. The famous marquees above the building's 49th and 50th Street entrances have been seen on numerous television shows, such as 30 Rock and Seinfeld. Unlike most other tall Art Deco buildings constructed in the 1930s, 30 Rockefeller Plaza has no spire on its roof.

Below the building is a shopping concourse, connected to the lobby via an escalator. The open lobby's rich materials and reduced black and beige ornamental scheme is enhanced by dramatic lighting. Granite covers the building base to a height of 4 ft (1.2 m) and the shaft has a refined facade of Indiana Limestone with aluminum spandrel panels.

The 65th floor of the building is an event room and restaurant named the Rainbow Room. It was revamped and reopened to the public with new operators until it closed in 2009 due to the economic downturn. The interior of the Rainbow Room holds landmark status, awarded by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 2012. Following extensive refurbishment, the Rainbow Room reopened in fall 2014.

Rainbow Room

This restaurant, previously run by the Cipriani family, is on the 65th floor of the Comcast Building.[17] Opened in 1934, it was the first restaurant to be located in a high-rise building and remained the highest elevated restaurant in the United States for decades. Suffering from a decline in business following the financial crisis of 2007–08, the restaurant closed in 2009. In 2012, it was declared a New York City landmark by the New York Landmarks Preservation Commission. On September 17, 2013, it was announced that the Rainbow Room would reopen in fall 2014 after undergoing a full restoration along with a new executive chef and management team. After a years-long restoration process by Gabellini Sheppard Associates, it reopened to the public on October 5, 2014, with new owner-operator Tishman Speyer and chef Jonathan Wright at the helm. The renovation includes the landmarked dance floor and a new cocktail lounge called SixtyFive.

Observation deck

The observation deck atop the skyscraper, dubbed "Top of the Rock", reopened to the public on November 1, 2005, after undergoing a $75 million renovation. It had been closed since 1986 to accommodate the renovation of the Rainbow Room. The deck, which is built to resemble the deck of an ocean liner, offers sightseers a bird's eye view of the city, competing with the 86th floor observatory of the Empire State Building 200 feet (61 m) higher. It is often considered the best panoramic city view, if only because it offers a view of the aforementioned Empire State Building, which cannot be seen from its own observation deck. The timed entry system and larger observation deck also results in shorter waiting times compared to the Empire State.

The "Top of the Rock" had also been co-opted for NBC's Sunday Night Football during the 2006–07 season, with the top player/MVP in that night's game according to John Madden and Al Michaels receiving the honor of being that night's "Rock Star" in the form of a glass trophy display on the observation deck; this was a replacement for the Horse Trailer Award formerly awarded on ABC's Monday Night Football. The Horse Trailer honor was restored for the 2007–08 season. (Wikipedia)

I actually built this about a year ago. I then promptly dropped it while setting up at BrickFair. Since then it's been in a box awaiting repairs. I finally got around to patching it up and here it is. I wanted to build a full house with siding, so I looked for the cheapest slopes I could find. Lavender it was. So based on that, I decided this was the kind of place a grandma would live, and based my design decisions on that. It was an enjoyable experience, but there are definitely some structural things I would change in future builds.

actually taken in northern Germany, Mecklenburgische Schweiz.

Actually he posed here with his plough but being against the light he didn't show up that clearly so i gave it a vintage style colour look.

Actually the Papillon, Zoey is walking the little girl Mimi.

actually a mallard, I believe - while walking in the woods I almost walked into this nest - I didn't see the female leave, but the nest looked like it was still in use so I just took a quick snap and moved on.

Actually you can talk to each other, no need texting...

Actually,, I don't drink coffee, I'm a devoted tea drinker!

Think they would also look good with hot chocolate and marshmallows floating on top too. (Or Milo)

... actually a whole lot more than 10, thanks to all of the wonderful Neo Blythes that have been produced since 2001!!

I was excited to see this girl today, and though I usually can't wait to whip these babies out of their stock clothes and onto a licca body and into some jeans (sorry! :D) I think she's beautiful like this. Her dress is really lovely and she's very beautiful. This was fresh out of the box before a shampoo or anything, so her bangs are a bit unruly. Thanks for visiting and looking!

Actually, they call them "mutant vehicles".

Actually there are probably Lesser and Great Scaup in this bunch, but they're too far out to be able to tell even when viewed large. But I've been saving this particular image for over a year in case I should ever seen a brace or flock of Scaup again.

The town (or part of it) across the Strait is Benicia, California.

Actually, vacuuming is the easiest household job; much easier than ironing!

Actually found Thanksgiving fabric, with words, IN BARBIE SCALE! So, of course, I had to do these. :-)

Actually, I think everybody was looking at another Alaskan coastal brown bear just outside of the frame. I can't remember exactly, but to have all those photographers PLUS the momma bear looking right toward me must have meant there was something for them to look at other than than little ole me (grin).

This is the first of three viewing platforms just outside of Brooks Lodge in Katmai National Park, Alaska. This platform overlooks the Brooks River as it empties into Naknek Lake. I and the group of people around me had to wait until the bear in the pic (and possibly the bear outside of the pic) had moved away from the bridge over the river. This is what is called a "bear jam" and can last anywhere from 10 minutes to several hours, depending upon the whim of the bear(s).

Actually as I am writing this I have one of my techno/dance tracks on called Raise your hands and these little Grevilia's look as if their little hands are being raised.

Another Grevilia I hadn't seen before and I just thought it was so gorgeous especially as some of the flowers look like Aliens (and we all know Aliens and me are close friends LOL).

I know I twiddled this into submission but I did like how the sunlight was twinkling on the leaves of the Gum Tree.

Actually, I should say in the midst of the storm as it has begun to thunder outside. Sandra is still making herself felt.

Better on black.

Actually, this guy was picking his nose and eating it!

Actually, they're scurrying away from me....as fast as their little feets will carry them. :-) They can fly but I think that's a last resort especially when they know a slow moving human can't catch them.:-) Have to conserve energy, I guess.

Actually, my girlfriend saw this and called me from the other room to see these clouds. They were amazing in person!

Actually she has seen one of the other cats (Winky) entering her space.

No badges and group images, thanks.

The full version of what is now the Model 5C.

SHIPtember week 1 has almost passed, so I wanted to share a progress picture.

Since the last Update:

-Cockpit/command bridge has been added

-exterior walls have been semi-completed, still working on Greebles & details

-most upper floor interiors have been added

-roof construction has started

As of this update, the total (and probably official, as I don't think there are any other extended parts to add) length of the SHIP is 113 studs.

actually this was taken with a canon 5d mark 2 but uploaded from an ipad

Actually i don't know what i am looking..

Today i saw a film.."The Giant Mechanical Man". That’s my new favourite movie, it was so beautiful..and I was surprise.. because it explained how i feel!!!!

There’s some days that I’m feel so invisible..like today.. I don't know what is wrong in me..and as they say in the movie.. 'It only takes one person to make you feel like you belong to the world'..maybe I haven’t yet found it..maybe I’m looking for a “Giant Mechanical Man”.

Actually digging in the archives for some refreshing pictures to cool you down :-))

Actually, I saw three of these white ducks that day. Most probably they are domestic ducks that have ended up hanging with their Mallard cousins (and can interbreed with them). They might not have as steady a food source as on a nice farm, but on the other hand may be less likely to end up as confit de canard in some fancy restaurant.

Actually it's a vintage "Penny Brite." Although, rumor has it that she is not that bright. I got this a loooong time ago in a lot of vintage toys at the Peddler's Mall. I had no idea who it was until doing a bit of research. She is around nine inches tall. The shoes are original, the dress is not.

There seems to be a re-issue of this in 2009 as well.

Actually an icy pothole in Dance Hall Rock on Hole-in-the-Rock Road.

Actually 'our' train was not far away, it was a tired looking class 350 which was already jam-packed with unhappy hot people.

Left to right 221116 with the, 32 minutes late, 1M34 08.40 Bournemouth to Manchester Piccadilly service, 730015 with the terminated 10.50 Rugeley Trent Valley to Birmingham International, and 221135 with 1O14, the 10.25 Manchester Piccadilly to Bournemouth service. I was hoping to get 4 trains in the shot but the Bournemouth to Manchester slunk away...even more late.

Actually vinyl. I like the bright colour.

Actually not easy for me to do these kind of shots, but the Four Walls items are all great along with other decor releases I've mixed in here.

Actually around 11 PM ... We get some pretty intense rainbows late in the evening in this region in the summer.

It's a beautiful feeling to be standing in the same spot where I was photographing the Aurora in all it's brilliance a few months ago and now be shooting this glorious light, which appears superficially similiar but is oh such a fundamentally different phenomenon. Kluane Lake,Yukon Territory, June 13.

Actually thought to make this into an actual fig. I painted the gas mask to try and give it more of a navy-style camouflage pattern (weather I was able to accomplish that well is up to interpretation). The MP5 is for a bud that I'm just showing off here.
