The Eagle Eye Man of Action has been sent to the Himalayas to check out recent reliable reports of the Abominable Snowman, or "Yeti" as it is called by the locals.
Years ago he was part of an expedition that successfully captured a Yeti child. Unfortunately, that specimen didn't last very long in captivity. If he can subdue this Yeti, his task is to tag it so the Adventure Team can study it in its natural environment and avoid mishaps like the last one.
In the early morning hours, he treks out from his base camp to investigate a remote valley that seems to be the center of Yeti activity.

Here is a 40th Anniversary GI Joe Pilot shortly after bailing out of his aircraft.
The figure is a 40th anniversary Pilot wearing the Goldenrod Flight Suit. He has accessories from the Scramble Pilot Card and a reproduction helmet from Cotswold/EliteBrigade.
Photographed with a Nikon D3100 and a Nikon 85mm f1.8 lens.
I wasn't real happy with my first session with my Vietnam styled GI Joe Soldiers. So, here is Take 2. I'm much happier with this group.
This is the same group photographed earlier, all 40th Hasbro parts except: Helmets and Tan belts are Elitebrigade, weapons are all 40th Action Man and beret is from the Timeless Collection Green Beret GI Joe.

Sorry Toypincher, are they going too far?
Our brave Action Man is wearing Argyll & Sutherland Highlander Uniform, that I got from real Toypincher. It is a real treasure.
And no, he is wearing nothing under the kilt, I checked.
Little Toypincher is wearing a nice flower in his hair, that he got from San Francisco.

Ken is the perfect model to capture the romantic fantasy behind the impetus for marriage reform. For Gen Y, I think it's as much about equal access to the whole fantasy as it is about legal changes.
For Iron Photographer 217 where the elements are:
1 - a cartoon figure
2 - something used in cooking
3 - noir
So I raided an old toybox and found this action man of unknown provenance. Not sure if he's a cartoon or not....
Here he is saving the world from sliced tomatoes.
For BlondeActionMan's Tag Game: Rescue Team photo challenge:
Your mission, should you choose to accept it: one of your guys (or girls) has been kidnapped by an opposing HQ. Your Commander must select three of the best soldiers or agents (any make of figure can be used) to mount a rescue! Each one must have some skill that will be essential to the team to aide in this mission. Your team must be kitted out and they must have a vehicle to make a fast getaway! Your team may use any mode of transport.
Now let's see those teams!

I SO LOVE this guy's face expression! He has been through a lot, you can see that, he's a veteran :) GI.Joe is a young rascal compared to this guy :P

This is the timeless collection Spy Island GI Joe from the early 2000's. He's dressed up in the uniform from the Then & Now soldier collection...with a few mods. I've taken a spare arctic backpack, and soaked it in strong tea for a few days to turn it tan. (I added a little bit of green food coloring to it as well.) Also added some netting from the Timeless collection Green Beret figure.
Photographed with a Nikon D3100 and an 85mm f1.8 lens. It's taken me a while to get used to the narrow depth of field that this lens has at f1.8, but it fades out my backyard quite nicely once I get the focus right!

I've noticed that I don't have a lot of Sailor photos here, so I put this together:
Three GI Joes depict a US Navy Boarding Team from WWII-Korea era. The team was made up of parts that Hasbro created for GI Joe in the 1960's.
All figures are 40th Anniversary GI Joe sailors. The items that are not 40th anniversary are: M1 Rifle from Action Man 40th Anniversary collection, Three blue Cotswold Helmets (Reproductions of the GI Joe Navy Attack helmets), and a tan Cots pistol belt.
For some reason the elbow joints on two of these figures broke during the photo session. In this photo, the figure on the right has a broken arm...and I've propped it up with the strap of the M1. The figure on the left has also broken an arm, and I've propped it up on his web belt. I've replaced the figures...and tossed these two into the parts bin. Dang.
"Hi, Dr Crusher? Yeah, sorry Bev... I'm going to be late home - this meeting at Starfleet HQ looks like it'll be an alnighter... what? You can hear what in the background? Must be a bad line..."
