Vintage Action Man and GI Joe, with some repos thrown in from my collection.

After some time spent cruising they come to a rest at a stoplight.

The Adventure Team Vehicle pulls up next to them in the next lane.

Joe tries his luck with Ana, but yet again she isn't interested!

Made about 7 years ago while I studied at the art academy. Had something to do with the name Esther, but don't know the details anymore of the subject. Made a tranny action man in dress, can you spot him? ;P

Now what shall i do today ?

An "Action Man" figure with a real camera built in. The lens is in the middle of his chest, and he takes 110 cartridges. I will be using this camera in week 63 of my 52 film cameras in 52 weeks project:

Okay, FLICKR isn't the place I would typically post something like this...but I have a reason for doing it! Last week I searched the internet for HOURS looking for a safe and effective way to remove the yellow lips from my THEN & NOW reproduction Joes. I probably bought about a dozen of them...most of them at $12 bucks a piece from etoys. (Wow, that was some time ago!)

Anyway, as I'm getting back to work with my collection the yellow lips on these guys were REALLY bugging me. With no info from the internet, I searched my garage for something that might work...and found this bottle of lacquer thinner. I picked my least favorite figure, and gave it a try!

Well, as you can see here...it worked great! A little dab on a Q-tip...followed by rinsing the face with a wet cloth...and yellow lips are gone!

I figured I would post this at every site i'm on...in case someone else is looking for a cure for "yellow lips" as well.

On patrol...

Bought this guy a week ago on a flea-market, and it's one of my favourite modern Action Man figures. If they made more figs like this one, I'd be much more interrested in this line. maybe that's beacause of his GI.Joe vibe, instead of being an orange coloured, enviromental tree hugging skating loonatic like usual.

Sorry I am a bit late, had to dig the boys out from their trenches!

40th Anniversay figure & costume (custom flock job from Flocktastic) - the Jungle Explorer heads out into the wilderness... but wait... what's that in the bushes?

Does my clock look big in this

I get that a kid might like Action Man. I get they might really like them and have a parent that buys them an army. I get that there comes a time when they might grow out of toys and not want to play with them any more.

I do not get why anyone would keep the clothes of 11 Action Men.

The idea behind this is to somehow resemble a cut out from an old horror movie. You who have seen the Grindhouse project by Tarantino and Rodriguez knows what Im talking about.

Today I received a package from Germany from my good Flickr friend Nav (Virgin-Archer). He gave me this great Palitoy Action Girl in awesome Bruce Lee - like jumpsuit. She was the girls doll from Palitoy, and Action Man the boys actionfigure. So in a way they're like brother and sister. She will get a nice spot in my collection :) Thanks again Nav, you rock!!! :D

Parts Dept: One Walmart Air Adventurer, one blue handknit turtleneck, one fine tip black sharpie, and blue Testor paint.

Action Man body. Gi.joe head, bootleg and AM clothes.

Actually I was hunting for an Action Man Deep Sea Diver...

I came across a reproduction version for an absolute bargain a few weeks ago and whilst I was thinking about it for a few hours someone snapped it up.

I made up for this by getting this Classic Collection Mercury Astronaut instead which was an even bigger bargain!

Wasn't that stoked about my first Ripper. Felt the face was lacking some personality due to the use of a boring early AM head from the late 80's/ early 90's. I like the way this new one turned out.

Palitoy Action Man Chopper Pilot ready for Action

Now, let the serious drinking start!

The Eagle Eye Man of Action has been sent to the Himalayas to check out recent reliable reports of the Abominable Snowman, or "Yeti" as it is called by the locals.

Years ago he was part of an expedition that successfully captured a Yeti child. Unfortunately, that specimen didn't last very long in captivity. If he can subdue this Yeti, his task is to tag it so the Adventure Team can study it in its natural environment and avoid mishaps like the last one.

In the early morning hours, he treks out from his base camp to investigate a remote valley that seems to be the center of Yeti activity.

Here is a 40th Anniversary GI Joe Pilot shortly after bailing out of his aircraft.

The figure is a 40th anniversary Pilot wearing the Goldenrod Flight Suit. He has accessories from the Scramble Pilot Card and a reproduction helmet from Cotswold/EliteBrigade.

Photographed with a Nikon D3100 and a Nikon 85mm f1.8 lens.

I wasn't real happy with my first session with my Vietnam styled GI Joe Soldiers. So, here is Take 2. I'm much happier with this group.

This is the same group photographed earlier, all 40th Hasbro parts except: Helmets and Tan belts are Elitebrigade, weapons are all 40th Action Man and beret is from the Timeless Collection Green Beret GI Joe.
