Psycho shower scene, starring Action Man.

Uniform from Strike Force, assocoires from Action Man. Add a GI.Joe figure and voila: You got yourself a modern French Foreign Legion soldier.

I am hosting a "traveling toy" (you'll notice I avoided saying "doll" in this instance) from the UK which has been sent on a tour of the US by a member of an action figure forum.

This brawny Action Man, the UK equivalent of GI Joe, arrived a few days ago from his first US host in Pennsylvania, and now he's ready to explore the American Southwest.

An old Action Man disses today's boys toys to a Dynamite Girl his modern counterpart looks on impatiently (c'mon old man... your rivets are showing!)

Bought him for his suit, but he's actually rather funny with his beer belly.

I always thought he looked a bit camp.

Day 14 of the April challenge. Continuing my theme of linking today's image with yesterdays image. The young padawan has been busy training, he has become the all action hero today, ready to do battle with any foe. The finishing touches to his skills was this jungle training in the garden undergrowth. An action man has emerged... Josh loves it....wants it as a poster...ha, haa! I'm quite pleased with the effect, if it is a little weird...but the child has become the toy.

Another cool Flickr swap! Thanks Jay, they're sweet!! I love Duke's headsculpt! Let me know what figs you want ok?

Action Man Felix hopes the trapdoor in the ceiling is, like in the movies, conveniently not bolted.

Did'ja ever notice how, in the movies, a trapdoor in the floor is always cleverly hidden underneath a rug with a sofa or table weighting it down, but when a trapdoor in a ceiling is required for a desperate or cunning getaway, it is rarely locked and never encumbered by carpets or furniture?

Yeah, well, Felix has noted that, too, so he's feeling pretty confident at this point that his attempt to escape from the catacombs will prove successful.

He probably would have been better off if he had not wandered away from the guided tour in the first place.

Miracles happen... Big box full of Action men and their gear & uniforms in flea market today.. And the box was only 8 euros ($12, £7)!!! And that's not all... Also in flea market was Action Man Helicopter in it's own box 2 euros!!!! :o (3 dollars / under 2 pounds)... oh gosh.. :-)

I've been making trendy clothes for Arthurs action man for xmas, having great fun :)

Made this vintage fuzz head into: Hard Rock. A character from 'The Action Team' line (German Gi.joe from the 70's). His face is still a little dirty, and I will keep it that way. I think it makes him look that bit more grittier, and I love to see toys that are well loved and played with :)

Blogs, tumblr & facebook frequently feature endless

bad photos of the blogger. Tagged “GPOY” (Gratuitous Picture Of Yourself) they are very often self-portraits – either the camera held at arm's length from the face

or an underpants (on or off) vanity

in a grimy bathroom mirror.

The photo you see here is RARE!

LOL! Let me explain:

You see, this figure is wearing the complete uniform from the 2004 (40th anniversary) GI Joe convention.

And I'll bet that you'll find a LOT more photos of this uniform still on the card, than actually in use on a figure!!!!

Think about it...the uniform was issued at a convention of collectors. Collectors HATE to unpackage a limited item. Well, the uniform is useless to me in the package...so here it is in full display.

Now, I'll bet if you search...you'll not find any other photos of this uniform actually on a figure. Which, in my opinion, makes this opened uniform package much more rare than a mint on card uniform!

ACTION MAN

J'adore Action Man, Action Joe, GI Joe.

I love Action Man, Action Joe, GI Joe. Every time I see one I adopt it. This one is an Action Man. It was made in England by Palitoys and has "eagle eyes", meaning that they move from right to left using a handle on the back of the skull.
