Our annual "Get Away From The Cold" cruise was on NCL Getaway. We sailed to the western caribbean.
These viseow were taken with an SJCAM SJ4000 action camera which makes the process super simple.

We cruised to/from Bermuda aboard NCL Breakaway in August 2017. The cruse was dubbed the "Birthday Cruise" because it signaled my entry into the next decade. Several family members were along for the celebration. The cruise was r/t NYC.

Tilted the camera slightly down so that the sky isn't visible in this picture. Lawn looks brighter because it doesn't have to compensate for the brighter sky like in the previous picture

Here you can see the better angle the camera is easily set to. I do use a small rubber band as a tether, as I just don't fully trust those little clip latches that hold the camera inside this mount. Remember, with the camera naked like this, you run the risk of lens damage and an increase in audio external noise. I have run my GoPro 960 camera naked for years and never had any issues.

With the nice weather comes the chance to get away from walking the mall and get outside. There are several “Rails to Trails” opportunities in our area with the “Lebanon Valley Rails to Trails” system being one of them. We’ll typically head out from a parking lot for 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 miles then double back to the car.
All of these video clips were captured with a GoPro Hero 7 Black.
Spent some time at Longwood Gardens. While Kathy was off taking pictures of flowers, I concentrated on capturing some Time Lapse video of spectators and photographers.

Crow and red squirrel. I tried for the first time to place my Sony FDR-X1000V action camera on ground level and see what happens. This is what almost instantly happened... It seems quite good camera for this purpose. Interesting to see how it compares to Olympus Tough TG-5 which was filming at the same time from different angle. Hopefully I get some interesting material during next few days.
DJI drone giant has launched its first action camera posing a challenge to the market leader GoPro. It matches Hero 7 Black on almost every specification while also offering a few completely unique features. And anything that GoPro does now may almost seem like a 'DJI-can-do-that-too'. As a result, DJI might put GoPro under pressure ahead of its next product cycle.

I finally met up with my photo friend, Jim Cook and his wife, Yong today. They arrived at UT Gardens Knoxville around 12:30pm. I showed them around and we captured photos with our cameras. They left around 1:20pm to head home. I had lunch and then rode my AiPAS Ebike back home. I got all my photos and videos imported.
I got an inexpensive POV Pro 4k Sports Camera from Temu recently.
So I clicked it to the braided cables on the front of my AiPAS E-bike. It has a wider field of view compared to my 2015 era Xioami Yi Action Camera (1080p). It also has an app to adjust the camera settings (a standard on very inexpensive Chinese Action Cameras ). I like that they copied the Insta360 GO series shape and size, and having a magnetic back so it can be attached to metallic surfaces!
