The rubber pad has Velcro sewn to the back side of it. It hooks onto the loop pile that is applied to my sidecar body.
I modified the suction cup to mount my SJ1000 camera to this rubber pad. The pad has sticky Velcro backing sewn to the rubber. I will put the felt Velcro where I want to mount this camera mount and it will adhere to the surface well. Although I used a suction cup mount for this project, as GoPro tripod adapter could have just as easily been used, instead. I have 3 of these adapted pads, so I can swap out cameras on the various mounts in a hurry.
I heated this white cut off piece and attached the rubber piece with the Velcro that was sewn to it. The camera can now be put onto a fence or hooked onto any surface that the bent area will hook over. A GoPro tripod adapter could have been used, but I had this modified suction cup handy at the time.
Some people hit the gym while on a cruise. Some do nothing at all. For me it's walking the halls at around 6am. I'll get 1-1/2 miles of walking in before heading back to the cabin.....
All of these clips were captured with a GoPro Session 5 on a tiny tripod.

We had a houseful for Thanksgiving dinner and these extra folding charirs came in handy. Now we had to decide what to do with them until the next time they're needed. Ah Ha! Hang them in the garage.....
FWIW, I bought the kit from WalMart. It's a "Hyper Tough Quick Release 5-Piece Snap Rail System". The kit came with a 46" rail, two 6" hooks and two 3" hooks.

Good quality sheep wool used on the splints, Not sure what I'll adapt it all to, but it sure needs some use, as it would be a shame to waste it.

Spent some time at Longwood Gardens. While Kathy was off taking pictures of flowers, I concentrated on capturing some Time Lapse video of spectators and photographers.
This video was captured with a SJCAM SJ5000x Elite. A 1 second interval was used.

Lot of options to modification on the splint parts. The plastic is easily cut with a hack saw blade and bent with a flame to the shape necessary.
Another errand for @laura.j66 translates to another bike ride. Had to go to Salmo to exchange one of her trees that didn’t make it. Decided to head over to Rossland after and explore something new. Chose the Malde Creek area and The Flume was the first trail on the list. It was a super fun ride with some old school stunts through and old growth forest, the climb back out was a bitch though.

It’s that time of year again where I slip into my Easter Bunny costume and organize another Hard Mode Easter Egg Hunt. The first clue was revealed during breakfast and the rest you can follow along in the video. We started out with blue skies, then overcast, which turned into hail and snow just to revert into sun as we were coming back out. It was a 4k hike with 430m of elevation gain. With all the stops and looking for treasures it took us 5 hours ( oops ), everyone was exhausted and hungry.

I had heated the white plastic that had the Velcro fabric attached to it from the brace. I bent the end of the plastic so I can hang it on my storage bin or even on a fence easily. It works well like this. I can change the height I have it hanging by clipping it to another storage bin at a different level. It works like a tripod in that manner.

We cruised to/from Bermuda aboard NCL Breakaway in August 2017. The cruse was dubbed the "Birthday Cruise" because it signaled my entry into the next decade. Several family members were along for the celebration. The cruise was r/t NYC.
