This is a rotating time lapse mount made using a battery powered clock motor, a ball bearing and a disk cut from 1/4" black Starboard. I also made a base from plywood to increase its stability.
The disk is glued to the hour hand movement on the clock motor. The camera will turn 90 degrees in three hours; that's 30 degrees every hour.
“Boondocker”. Best Trail in Revelstoke!? I think so! It’s got it all, steep, gnar, flow, jumps, gaps. One lap just wasn’t enough to get comfortable with the bigger features. I did manage to check off a bigger jump and the awesome rock roller but somehow still felt a bit disappointed not having done the bigger jump out of the three new options and the shark fin jump. Gotta come here with the boys so they can light some fire under my ass.

This foam is easy to cut down or trim away and is very soft to have the camera mounted on. May be a good thing for RC planes, cars and other things in reduction of weight.
Lights were bright here. Looks good in general. Closer inspection though reveals the noise reduction in action
The band was not straightened at the bottom, but two small ones held the foam and a larger one holds the camera in place on this diy camera mount for a ballcap. Since it actually clips into place, you can also use it in other locations.

Mocking the camera into place on the clear plastic business card holder. I'll do some trimming before I actually attach this to the glasses at the frame ear piece.
Our annual "Get Away From The Cold" cruise was on NCL Getaway. We sailed to the western caribbean.
These viseow were taken with an SJCAM SJ4000 action camera which makes the process super simple.

The camer from the side. You could also slip a small piece of foam just over the microphone to reduce external noise or wind noise.
No drilling required and this mod is easy and cheap to make. Very stable, but you can also use a thin strip of Velcro in mounting if you don't wish to use rubber bands.
The white part can be removed and it is folded in half. It, too, can make for a good foam base for the camera.
Brighton & Hove 701.
After using a camcorder which fell to bits due to the viabrations of the bus going down the road, followed by a tube camera with seperate unit containing the hard drive which broke after I dropped it making it far too delicate, I moved onto this revolutionary at the time sports camera which was £500 plus the clamp & all the bits and an £80 32GB SD card! The recordings were very wide angle, but very good quality. I went to London to buy it and a few of my previous photos from the day are on here. From there I went straight to work.
I bought it to record all the routes for historical purposes, and to report the really bad drivers, but B&H took objection to me filming down the road and told me to stop it, and also from taking any photos in the garages too. Well I objected to that, creating a rule which only applies to me is bullying, so I ignored it and carried on taking photos and recorded many hours of footage over my last two remaining years there.
