Repeating pattern: Nice colors, great exposure, good dynamic range, but lacking in sharpness due to aggressive smoothing
Third time is a charm. First time I rode Oblivion, it was pouring rain and my camera froze up, second time it destroyed my derailleur and ripped through my back wheel costing me $600.- in total repairs. Today it was perfect 🙏.
Good company with my buddy @awger , mans best friend running alongside and the cherry on top was hitting that golden hour just as we start descending. Just as the name indicates already, Oblivion is in the middle of nowhere, a trail that should not be and yet there it is, a perfect balance between speed, tech & gnar. It’s a pain in the ass to shuttle to but a must ride at least once a year 👌.

It seems that every time I put the camera out, the birds went away. I kept at it for a couple days and finally got them to come around long enough for about a minute of time lapse video.
The video was captured on a GoPro Session 5 with a time lapse interval of 1 second.
Background music was from FBM and was called "Arc North - Oceanside"
Three hedgehogs and red squirrel in action cam. I tried for the first time to place my Sony FDR-X1000V action camera on ground level and see what happens. This is what almost instantly happened... It seems quite good camera for this purpose. Interesting to see how it compares to Olympus Tough TG-5 which was filming at the same time from different angle. Hopefully I get some interesting material during next few days.

How the Yi handles fast motion in low light. Strapped the Yi on a helmet mount and used time lapse. This was literally the only picture out of the 200 i took that wasn't blurry
Using a cheap action cam in time lapse mode, infrared modified, through a IR720 filter. Lens changed to 300mm equivalent, through a triple-pane window.

Taken at about 6pm on a cloudy day. Here you can see how dark the buildings are compared to the sky. Wasn't even that dark in person. Something i think can be improved on in the future.
Our annual "Get Away From The Cold" cruise was on NCL Getaway. We sailed to the western caribbean.
These viseow were taken with an SJCAM SJ4000 action camera which makes the process super simple.
We spent our day at Maya Chan.
