There in the gardens at Sudeley Castle was a brilliant Teupen Hi-Lift access platform, I literally came across it, as it was brought into position to inspect the masonry to the upper reaches of parts of the castle. The following series of pictures capture a few positions of the machine as it was being used. I was unable to get the driver to give me a lift to take some really compelling photographs at a high level!

This schematic sketch is truly and completely 'freehand' in ink. Note there is not a straight line in evidence; this means no scale rule was used, as is the case in the vast majority of 'hand' drawn sketches (see other drawings for straight lines.

The paper used was simple lined margin paper from a pad.

I would guess that this was drawn in a hotel the night before the meeting to present it to the site team.

This photo was taken whilst working on the job using an iPhone. It was used on a poster campaign, and the sky has been made a block colour.

This sketch is a complicated version of a plan, to show where the working platform runs will be positioned in relation to the structural steel grid and temporary and permanent piles.

The grid is acting as a Piling Frame, in conjunction with the indicated vertical temporary piles.

This was probably drawn over a squared 'ghost' sheet (5mm squares) underneath with a 0.5mm Fibretip pen for the drawing and a 0.3mm Fibretip for the Text Lettering.

The section lines relate to 2 sections shown on another drawing.

Straightforward application sketch drawn onto a plain paper photocopied drawing sheet i.e. comprising a Border and a Title Block that were produced using a version of Adobe Freehand to create a layout from which a Master was then printed out on a Macintosh Inkjet Printer.

Probably drawn with an Edding 0.5mm Black Fibretip pen.
