i had just stepped out of the ophthalmologist's office with dilated pupils and sunglasses on but I had my camera in my hand and had to take this shot anyway.

HAPPY SLIDERS SUNDAY !!
I think this is part of a machine that is dragged behind a tractor to put fresh-cut hay into "windrows." This facilitates the next step:
A hay baler is driven over a windrow to pick up hay and form it into bales for storage. If someone has better information about this piece of machinery, please correct me, and I will fix my text.
As usual for SS, I slid several sliders up high, including saturation, brightness, contrast, and sharpness--topped off with a bit of posterizing.

I found great delight in a stand of grasses. Looking kind of unkempt on the surface from a distance, a closer look revealed an incredible world of colors and shapes.
The depth of grace, color and movement of these grasses inspired this composition and I will be sure to visit them again.

This composite photo image in an abstract composition in a minimalist style featuring architectural detail and a deep blue sky with whimsical clouds. The small cloud hovering above a building's top edge caught my attention and the combination of colors and shapes were asking to be framed.

Retake of Upstream which I photographed a year ago in Ginza, Tokyo.
This time there is an image of night sea in my mind.
Those waves are dimly lit by the lighthouse and pleasing sound of the sea still comes up to my ears
because I've just visited lovely fishing village and headland near Tokyo on the previous day.
(Fish dishes were too nice to take pictures over there..)
"It is dangerous when you start calling people from one part of the world terrorists or fanatic, and you reduce them to some abstract notion. If evil has a geographical place, and if the evil has a name, that is the beginning of fascism. Real life is not this way. You have fanatics and narrow-minded people everywhere.
