NO GIFS AND ANIMATED ICONS, PLEASE!
HMM- the Macro Mondays group has “circles” as the theme for 4/19. This is one possibility. My actual choice was/is the embroidered circles.
And now for something a bit different from me. Beachside vegetation seen during a walk in Hampshire on New Year's Day 2018.
I think this is a partial view of the trunk of a plane tree (Platanus orientalis), but I am not sure. I am basically tree-dumb. I thought the variegated bark was a nice basis for an abstract-reality photo. Some of the colors come from algae that grows on this shady tree in places where the bark has fallen off.

Detail from part of the Plimsoll Swing Bridge over the harbour in Bristol - where a graffiti 'artist' (or vandal) had splashed paint across the structure. Just liked the way the purple paint and the row of bolts neatly came together on the 'third'...
Yeah, it's time to start showing winter the door when it keeps on doing things like this to my bedroom window.
