A striking interplay of sunlight and shadow captured at the intersection of angular architecture. The radiant burst of light at the rooftop edge draws the eye upward, creating a dramatic sense of space and contrast. Sepia tones enhance the timeless, abstract mood of the composition.

I'm really pleased with the quality of the images taken with this little point and shoot Digital camera! I keep it with me every day. This is a departure from my normal but I wanted to showcase what this camera can do.
This image is of an abandoned Burger King restaurant in my neighborhood. I couldn't pass this scene up and the only camera I had was my LITTLE Nikon. I just love the different textures and colors in this image! The blue of the roof and sky are almost identical. That's what drew me to this scene. The image has been cropped to give maximum impact.
I may at one time in the future, return to this scene and photograph it with one of my film cameras but for now, I can live with the results shown here.
Old digital camera, poor quality shot, bad light, great building, interesting effect - A new building in Ropemaker Street, London, July 2014
This is a somewhat abstract shot of Jean Nouvel's building in Chelsea, NYC. It's a fascinating structure and just happens to sit right next to another amazing building - Frank Gehry's IAC Headquarters.
Shot handheld using intentional camera movement.
The steel dome design for the Vietnam Veteran’s Monument in Pittsburgh, PA, looks like a geometric abstract pattern when captured from below.

Stopped to take a 'looking up' shot at 444 Market Street when I noticed that the 425 building's shadow drew a distinct line across the sky.
Single exposure. Bit of post to bring out the shadow.
New BNZ (Bank of New Zealand) centre in the city. An earthquake rebuild, but on a different site (site of the old large Whitcoulls building).
This was created using a building located in Washington, DC. The original photo was taken, and per the usual... It was laid down, flipped, and reversed.

Did you realise the torso of a shop window dummy behind the open window? A longing look? Some erotism?
