Day 38/365
I went to Union Station intending to take some abstract pictures in the Skywalk. I stopped and took a few shots first of these Bell payphones. They have circular banks of payphones set up with each phone enclosed by these grooved shell-like enclosures. After reviewing my pictures at home, I was quite happy with this shot and decided I liked it better than the Skywalk shots. I still have Friday and Saturday, but I suspect this will be my best abstract shot for the week.
I'm really busy with my studies , I've missed you all :)

This fresco is in the Monte Oliveto Maggiore Abbey (Abbazia di Monte Oliveto Maggiore), which is a stunning abbey perched on the top of a cliff in the Crete Senese area. The Abbey was built in the 15th century. The Great Cloister is decorated with a fresco cycle depicting the life of St Benedict by Luca Signorelli, who began work on its 36 large scenes in 1497. The cycle was finished in 1508 by Sodoma.
I processed this tune while processing this picture.

A cold, drizzly Sunday afternoon is a perfect time for playing around with a photo technique. It took a while of messing around with a CD cover balanced on tins to get something I was happy with - I settled on this one with some coloured pencils in the background. It's one to come back to in the future and try out a few more variations I think.
Looking the opposite way from the previous shot, at the 'lit string' archway. This view made the red tones a lot more prominent.
