Produced today as project work for a Royal Photographic Society workshop on Abstract Photography let by Nigel Wilson.
This particular image is of the neck of a small, square oil-filled bottle that is used to hold reed diffusers as a room air freshener. A wide aperture was used in order to create a very limited depth of field, so only the inside of the bottle rim was sharp..
Simple abstract (maybe) for today - just a little pineapple with a "kind of" matte finish!

The rain opened the possibility of raindrop abstracts! In the morning, of course! Here we have multiple repetitions of the wet palm tree trunk! Three more images will follow as part of the raindrop abstract series...
