Well after 3 days at a leadership course in a Toronto hotel I started to become a little distracted. If someone can name the hotel by the wall pattern, I would be very impressed!

I just can't resist abstracts ... they entice me into a whole new world of seeing and experiencing everyday subjects.
My son is currently experimenting with abstract images made with flowable acrylic paints. This is one of his recent works. In general he mixes acrylic paints with various chemical agents to alter the viscosity and miscibility of the paints, and then "pours" them onto a canvas to create abstract images. I was fascinated with this piece and decided to post it.
This work is based on a photo of some ruabegas I took at the farmer's market.This is part of this short series in digital art creation.
