Today's Abstract

This was a trial of an abstract couple of weeks ago.

Taken at Brown's Family Farm and Market near Ross, Ohio and then digitally manipulated.

Handmade mixed-media abstract:

assorted papers, PVA glue, Gorilla clear glue, acrylic paint, metallic paint, permanent markers, gel pens, cold press watercolor paper

Completed Jan 15, 2020

Matted to 11X14 inches

I have spent most of the last 2 years experimenting with mixed media. I have a ton of art supplies, some new, some decades old. I've been combining them any way that comes to mind.

With each new artwork, I add more ideas & notes to my sketchbook. I'm sure I will never have the time to use up all of my supplies, nor use every idea.

Taken with an iPhone

This was taken on the same hillside as the little avalanche in the previous shot. (There's a couple of snowballs top left)

I like to look for abtracts and this one seemed obvious.
