The Tree of Souls (Utraya Mokri) is a giant willow-like tree that's said to have the highest concentration of Eywa on the planet. The Tree of Souls can also create a one-way psionic link between two bodies, similar to how Avatars work. When Grace Augustine was injured, Jake brought her to the Na'vi and they attempted to save her by using the Tree of Souls to permanently transfer her mind to her Avatar body. Although Grace was too weak to make the transfer, Eywa absorbed her memories. At the end of the film Jake successfully transfers his mind into his Avatar, making it his true body forever.
I am jumping from morning to morning, I feel forced to enjoy this moments again and again. It's like an addiction and I think I can't do it on an other time. The light, the colours and the mood on dawning autumn are so inspiring!

- While visiting the VW factory in 1947, Dutch car importer Ben Pon came up wîth the idea for the Bus (drawn on the back of his cigar box ☺) as we know it today.
- Officially launched on November 12, 1949, the Transporter line did not go on sale to the general public until March 1950. The Typ 2 T1a were among the first “forward control” vans in which the driver was placed above the front roadwheels.
- At first the T1a was only produced in the Wolfsburg plant, but from March 8, 1956 in a new plant in Hanover (VW-Werk Hannover).
- Versions created until 1955 were known as the T1a. These versions are often called the 'Barndoor' versions due to their large rear engine cover.
- The T1b were produced from 1955 through 1963. These versions had a smaller engine cover and smaller, 15-inch wheels.
- The T1c was introduced in 1963 and produced until 1967. These versions had a wider rear door.
- German production stopped after the 1967 model year; however, the T1 still was made in in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil until 1975.
- The varieties were huge, from Transporter, Camper, Delivery Van, Kombi, Microbus, Pick-Up, Ambulance, Ladder Truck, Police Vans, Buses etc.
- The T1 was very popular in the USA (Hippie Bus☺): by 1964 it was accounting for over 63% of all import vehicle sales.
* this car has a later on T2 1584cc flat-4 engine with 50 bhp / 3.800 rpm and torque 104 Nm / 2.400 rpm

I was absorbed in a gardening project when I caught a brown shape out of the corner of my eye.
Turning around, I saw that it was a doe headed up the drive toward the street. I called to her and she paused and turned around.
It was then that I saw her fawn standing next to her. The two of them proceeded back down the driveway (the fawn with proper caution) and past me toward the house and the animal cafe beyond it.
Well, we'd been wondering when we were going to see this year's offspring. In past years, the first sighting has taken place in June.
This year more bucks have been stopping by to feed here than ever before. Frank was speculating that their presence might be keeping the females away.
Since does do visit occasionally anyway, it's more likely that the mother was keeping her fawn out of sight until she thought it was old enough to venture out safely.

Cubillos, Soria.
Cubillos is a depopulated belonging to the term Cubilla in the southern part of the Land of Pinares.
About eighty people resided in the twenty-four houses that made up this population. Houses of simple construction, all facing south.
In the 1960s the countryside and livestock no longer gave work for everyone in families where there were several children. Since the goods to be distributed were not very wide, so the younger ones were emigrating in search of a better quality of life to the big cities, mainly Barcelona, others went to Madrid and others settled in Soria capital and different places Of the province, if to this it is added that the older ones were passing away in the town because Cubillos was destined to remain empty, so in 1970 the last three families that remained left to live in Cubilla and although they continued working the lands , The municipal term was absorbed by the one of Cubilla by what disappeared administratively.
Today is Daffodil Day. We were all up early this morning in the Murphy house. Just as well, as the sunrise was beautiful. It didn't last long though and the clouds soon turned to rain by school time. I used the diffused light from the cloudy day here. My model was not her usual, obliging self, and took some coaxing. I thought the subject appropriate seeing the time of year and worthy cause. I wanted to try and capture the 'Scent of Spring' - as if a photo could do that! Here the radiance exuded by the daffodil is being absorbed by the little girl. A simple idea. I used colour popping to enhance the effect. I was equally happy with the full colour shot and I combined it with a High Key black and white conversion.
The shot; A single Raw file taken on the tri-pod. Processed with a tone Curve and Saturation boost. From this I made the b/w copy and added it as the top layer to the colour shot. Then erased elements of the b/w layer to reveal the colour elements in the Background colour layer. After flattening, I added some blur to the edges and framed it. ISO 100. 1/60 at f/2.8. No flash used, just the natural unfiltered light from the window. See the set-up below. I never go anywhere without my sheet of Black Felt, truly excellent stuff.
sooc. and old. i miss this day. and of course the forest :)

“Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful. There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around. You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are. The things that seem insignificant to most people such as a note, song or walk become invaluable treasures kept safe in your heart to cherish forever. Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid it’s like being young again. Colours seem brighter and more brilliant. Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t exist at all. A phone call or two during the day helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face. In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby. Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you. You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do. Simple things bring them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on the horizon. You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible. You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end. Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are a part of your life.”

- The Mini (ADO15) was designed by Sir Alec Issigonis (who also designed the Morris Minor over 10 years earlier) and is generally considered one of the most important milestones in automotive history.
- Based on the 2-door Mini John Cooper (racecar constructor of Formula 500, Formula 3 and Formula 1 cars and a friend of Sir Alec Issigonis) developed a sporty model: the Mini Cooper.
- In Italy in the years 60-70 it often was too expensive, due to high import duties, to purchase an imported car, so that most Italians opted for an Italian car. BMC England signed an agreement with Innocenti Milan (famous for the production of Lambretta) and from 1965 Innocenti was allowed to built the Mini 850 for the Italian market. Since 1971, the Mini Cooper was also built under license.
- It is equipped with a unique "Hydrolastic" shock absorption system, invented by famous British rubber engineer Alex Moulton, in which the various fluid-filled shock absorbers, by means of conduits, are in communication with each other.
- The Innocenti was faster and more luxurious (interior with more accessories and better finished) than the British Mini and nowadays very popular in the USA, Canada and Europe.
- Many details of internal and external were produced by Italian brands (IPRA for the radiators, Carello and Altissimo for the headlights), so especially for the Innocenti Mini Cooper 1300 spare parts are hard to find.

Whilst set up capturing a photo of these stunning Horn Head peninsula cliffs in the distance a family strolled along the shoreline into my frame. The sounds of laughter could be heard across the entire beach as they skipped, danced & splashed through the shallows in joy.
Within this moment in time this family created memories that will stay with them forever.... I always find it fascinating to see people absorbed in their natural surroundings & loving life 💚
Hope you enjoy! Please Favourite & Follow to view my newest upcoming works, Thank you
Absorbed By Light:
The phone and computer screens that, literally and figuratively, light up our lives are irresistible. We read new messages immediately and want easy access to our social media, useful apps, and browser. Our smartphones are with us all the time – in bed, on the toilet, in the train, at our desk. They are an extension of our contact with our families, friends, and even people on the other side of the world. And as a result, we engage ourselves more with the virtual and superficial reality than with each other and the real world around us, something Lucas makes painfully clear. Actively involving the audience in the ‘story’ is a recurring feature in the work of the British artist, who has been working as a graphic designer at different international
agencies.
Squeak appears to be drawn in by the play of light.
- Many thanks to everyone for your visits and faves :)
Being absorbed in taking photos I forgot about coming home earlier. The stream in the rice field reflecting the evening sunlight was glowing ...just like my passion.
The Atacama Desert is home to some of the most transparent and dark night skies. Extremely dry air and high elevation provides some of the best views of our Milky Way galaxy. Pictured here is a 72 panel panorama showing the Southern Hemisphere Milky Way, in addition to stunning red airglow, and Zodiacal Light on the far right. The airglow is caused by oxygen molecules radiating energy previously absorbed during the daytime from our Sun. The faint white light eminating from the horizon on the right of the picture is from sunlight reflecting off of dust in our solar system, known as Zodiacal Light. I hope yall enjoy the view!

- The first high performance, low drag two-seater based on aircraft design principals was designed by Sixten Sason in 1954. SAAB’s management was not interested in pursuing the car, after Rolf Mellde and his team built in secret there first prototype.
- "Sonett" is Swedish for "how nice".
- Although the Sonett II was specially designed for the US market, sales were bad (1966-1970: 258 units built with a 3 cylinder 841cc / 2-stroke engine and 1,538 units built wit a 1498cc Ford V-4). Italian designer Sergio Coggiola drew a new design (adjusted by Gunnar A. Sjögren to use the mid section of the Sonett II and SAAB 96 parts like brakes and suspension), the Sonett III. It still had the underpowered Ford V-4 engine (floor shift now) and was still not a Sports Car.
- The Sonett III, with pop-up headlights, was introduced at the 1970 New York Motor Show and assembled at AB Zweedse Järnvägsverkstäderna (ASJ) in Arlöv (Sweden).
- From model year 1971 this stronger 1699cc Ford V-4 became standard, in order to handle US emissions controls.
- In 1974, unable to handle the more strict automobile emission control in the US, production on the Sonett III ended.

The small and enchanting cobbled streets of Tallinn are brought to life during the winter period with a light dusting of snow on rooftops and pavements.
On the north-eastern edge of the Baltic Sea, Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, is one of the best preserved medieval towns in Europe, and as such the old town area is included in Unesco's world heritage list. The aura of the 14th and 15th centuries survives intact in Tallinn's old town, through its jumble of medieval walls and turrets, needling spires and winding cobbled streets. The city can be easily explored on foot, which is the best way to see the historic old town and absorb the atmosphere and bright activity of its bustling squares.
Like other Baltic capitals, Tallinn's main square is the center of celebrations for New Year's Eve. Private parties, concerts, and balls are hosted by restaurants, hotels, clubs, and other venues to ring in the new year. If you plan to stick out the evening in Tallinn's squares, dress warmly - the Estonian capital is cold in December!
at the moment, 2018, this is a very young tree in the rainforest on Mt Tamborine South East Queensland....before very long it will be very tall alongside hundreds of others all of them helping to clean the air...along with the palms and other species.
Trees absorb odors and pollutant gases (nitrogen oxides, ammonia, sulfur dioxide and ozone) and filter particulates out of the air by trapping them on their leaves and bark.

Before we leave the Techatticup area I wanted to post this one; I wasn't going to (went with the B&W version instead), then I decided I wanted this for the album cover photo.
(Ford Model T, 1920's, engine was hand-cranked to start, wood spoke wheels, no real shock absorbers, isn't it great to just get in a car and go?)
