No - it's looking down almost vertically to the river from the Rocher des Doms park.

The Avignon local authority operates a free passenger ferry across the Rhône, near the Pont Saint-Bénézet (Pont d'Avignon).

Wikipedia: Avignon Cathedral (Cathédrale Notre-Dame des Doms d'Avignon) is a Roman Catholic cathedral, and a national monument of France, located in Avignon, above the Palais des Papes.
The cathedral is a Romanesque building, mainly of the 12th century, the most prominent feature of which is the gilded statue of the Virgin which surmounts the western tower.
