A story behind this admittedly lame photo! The pair of bank machines were being lightly used, so a photo op was called for. Midway through the selfie-bot clicking through its routine, an elderly hippie-chick, resplendent in dirty sweatshirt, capris, and flip-flops, came in ranting, "Do you MIND?" Epithets followed and various phases of screaming, to which I smiled and said nothing - which only got her more excited. It turns out that she was far more concerned with being in a hurry to get back to her air-conditioned Lexus than outrage at the tranny faggot posing for the camera. Such is life! (Though had I known the SUV in question was hers, I may have slammed open the door of my old Ford pickup into it)
Une histoire (certes sans intérêt) avec cette photo! La paire de guichets automatiques était peu utilisée, donc une séance photo était nécessaire. À mi-chemin du robot passant à travers sa routine, un hippie-poussin âgé, resplendissant dans un sweat-shirt sale, des capris et des tongs, est venu en déclamant, "Est-ce que tu es conscient?" Des épithètes ont suivi et diverses phases de cris, auxquelles j'ai souri sans rien dire - ce qui n'a fait que l'exciter davantage. Il s'avère qu'elle était beaucoup plus préoccupée par le fait d'être pressée de retourner dans sa Lexus climatisée que d'être indignée par la transsexuelle pédé posant pour la caméra. C'est la vie! (Même si j'avais su que le SUV en question était le sien, j'ai peut-être claqué la porte de mon ancien camion Ford dans le sien)

Very early Aronde 1300 of the 2nd generation. This 1300 is also called 90A Aronde, and was presented in Oct. 1955 at the Paris Automobile Salon.

This car was for sale. Asking price was € 3.500.

Soyuz and Progress calmly waiting their return to Earth as we fly over Baja California and Chile. Although the spacecraft look similar, Progress (seen at the back) is unmanned and is used for transport of supplies and raising the orbit of the International Space Station. Another important difference is that part of the Soyuz can return to Earth bringing Oleg and myself back to gravity tomorrow, Progress on the other hand burns up completely on reentry. I will make sure to choose the right vehicle for our return trip ;)
Le Soyouz et le cargo Progress restent imperturbables alors que nous survolons la péninsule de Basse-Californie et du Chili… Ils se ressemblent beaucoup, mais le second (en arrière-plan) est automatique, dédié au transport de ravitaillement et utilisé pour rehausser ponctuellement l’orbite de la Station… et surtout, il brûlera intégralement à la rentrée atmosphérique, contrairement à notre Soyouz à bord duquel Oleg et moi atterriront demain ! Il s’agira de ne pas se tromper de véhicule lors de l’embarquement… ;)

The Textron TAPV is an armored vehicle designed in the USA and sold to Canada to replace its former armored personnel carriers. It shares many similarities with the M1117 (V150), of which it is an improvement. Canada currently owns 500 of these vehicles.
This model can roll, with room for 4 minifigs, functional side and rear doors, and roof hatches (the front roof hatch is aesthetic only). The remote-controlled machine gun on the roof can also rotate freely. It houses a machine gun and an automatic grenade launcher.

Textron TAPV
Le Textron TAPV est un véhicule blindé conçu aux États-Unis et vendu au Canada pour remplacer ses anciens blindés de transport de troupes. Il conserve de grandes similarités avec le M1117 (V150) dont il est une amélioration. Le Canada en possède à ce jour 500.
Ce modèle peut rouler, peut accueillir 4 minifigs, ses portes latérales et arrières sont fonctionnelles tout comme les trappes de toit (la trappe de toit avant est toutefois uniquement esthétique). La mitrailleuse téléopérée sur le toit peut également tourner librement. Elle accueille une mitrailleuse et un lance grenade automatique.
