Round 1, Dubai

9th - 12th February 2022

Photo: Drew Gibson

EMU hosted a week of events that celebrated Asian culture. The big event of the week was the Gala, which included art displays, games, a buffet dinner, and a traditional “Southeastern Rain” dance performed by the Ann Hua dance group. Films and panel discussions were also held throughout the week.

Focus EMU, 9 February 2010.

I offered to take a photo of the both of them so they would have a nice photo together.

All of the tourist boats came adorned with these dragons. My dragon boat is closest to the camera. It did not shoot fire, to my dismay.

YES- I ate each and every single one of them. And these are only a FEW of my photos :)

Asian Paradise Flycatcher

May 2013, Bhubaneswar

This work is a series of buddhas hung in the shape of a stupa. It was for an exhibition exploring the different strains of buddhism practices across Asia. Amazing.

(In general, this seemed like an amazing museum, with great exhibits. I'd love to visit again.)

Taken @ Jin Shan, Taiwan

Although commonly seen in Taiwan, it is a new bird to me. Nice song bird that eats seeds and insect. I found him while walking in Fagu Hill Monastery. He and his partners were feeding on berries
