She was in a half sunny, half shady part of her exhibit. I loved all the shadows and the texture of her skin and thought it'd make a cool black and white photo.

Des : Restless and exotically plumaged bird is one of the grand sights of the forest, and commn. Male with shining enamelled blue upperpants including rump; balck face, underpants, wings and tail; eye ddep red. Female plain dark turquoise-blue with dark flight feathers, red eye (Davison & Fook, 1995)
