Stripes, twists, plaids in custom colors. Gently curved and progressively smaller tapered beads separated by stainless steel beads.
That's what some of the last year has felt like at times where that ascent was a real struggle. But now it has done a 180 and it really does feel in a good way on the way up.
Last night was an inspiration and now I feel like getting back to it.
The stairs are spiraling but nobody's home.
(not even the animal that flickr added as a tag)
Even when defished, a 180° fish eye shot of a spiral staircase that goes from 5" at the top to >50' at the center from the lens, is going to have some major curves because the staircase is curved.
The perspective was also adjusted on central distances.

I've nothing but praise for our Ascend FS10 and D10 kayaks. We've paddled over sixty miles on various Missouri lakes in the last 2-3 months. We looked at loads of different kayaks, price, comfort and stability were our key buying criteria. Their tracking is fine, they handle well into the wind, and are stable enough for me to be able to stand in, turn round and sit on the deck. The plastic hull is very thick and tough, ideal for the rocky creeks, rivers and lake shores in the Ozarks.
I've now just about finished fitting out my kayak; for a while anyway.

Lovely clear sky last night after the bad weather at the weekend so i headed over to Delamere Forest.the plan was to get the last train back at 23:46 but that turned out to be a bus(dam you national rail app!). So i had to do the usual and ride home, 16 miles at midnight... and i even got egged by a passing car, though i didnt realise it at the time. it wasnt until the next day when i seen the egg splattered on my rucksack!
anyway. it was one of the clearest nights for a while and Delamere Forest is quite dark and the Milkyway was about as visible as you're going to get in Cheshire.
Taking the straight and calf bustlingly steep road up Pale Heights at night. wondering what the sky was like at the top.
To the area of Chester County in which I live, bamboo can be considered a pervasive nuisance at times, but in Arashiyama Bamboo Grove it was a beautiful wonder :). Taken on an early April morning in Japan.

Shing Wong Street (Chinese: 城皇街) is a street on the hill slope of Sheung Wan and Mid-levels, Hong Kong. The street from Gough Street at its lowest to Caine Road highest. The street is one of ladder streets in Hong Kong, made of stone steps, in the section between Hollywood Road and Caine Road.
城皇街（Shing Wong Street）是一條位於香港港島上環的山坡路。 由南至北，起自半山區的堅道，大樓梯路經過士丹頓街及荷李活道警察宿舍西面、及經過以前為中央書院的舊址，現在用作聖公會基恩學校的西邊車道、直到中環歌賦街交接止。在北面交會處，有一條小街樓梯通往上環荷李活道260號荷李活華庭。
