This isn't children's sidewalk chalk. They have professional grade chalk, speacil brushes, knee pads..
At last the Artist reveals himself! :-)
I was taking photos in the Spirabukta area when I heard this hearty chirpiness :-)
I looked around peeping into several trees, but he was much closer on an old branch by the water .... in the shade..... I wouldn't throw the flash on the artist! :-)
The photographer.
I met these 3 men in a bakery in SF. They were all kind in of to let me take a portrait of each one of them. I completely forgot their names, though I knew I couldn't pronounce any of them. To my surprise one was a photographer, which immediately intimidated me because I am no pro but an enthusiast (he gave me tips when taking portraits, thumbs up!). The second one was an artist, which was also awesome, I wish I could of seen some of his work. It was funny because apparently he was in Ventura just the other Saturday before, and now he was heading up north. We spoke about farmers markets. Lastly, a man with a few words was the photographers agent.

Someday it would be nice if someone made such a plaque for me at my house: Bev Norton, painter, potter, dwelt here... once upon a time :>)
The painter must enclose himself within his work; he must respond not with words, but with paintings.
