An artist is a person who creates things. Dave does that. He's always done that, at least for the 15+ year's I've known him. It might be a Ham Radio antenna or a box of electronic circuitry that turns his Christmas lights on/off via a radio signal on the way home. Or maybe it's a simply metal bracket that hold something on the top of his car or a one of a kind piece of jewelry fashioned from silver or gold.
Dave takes pieces and parts and makes things. Cool things, beautiful things. Art.
And whatever it is, Dave always strives to do his best, to try new things, to continuously learn more, to do more.
It’s the same with photography. Dave makes cool photographs with a few pieces of camera gear (LOL), some lights, etc.

I'm experimenting with using Pages on the iPad to create artist's notes by embedding image files I've saved out of Brushes to my Saved Photos. Pages can save files as pdf. Unfortunately Flickr does not accept pdf files. So, I email the pdf file to myself and use Preview (a program that ships on all Macs) to open the pdf and Save As... a jpg file. This is the jpg file. So far I haven't figured out a way to do it all on the iPad.
