I took this candid photograph at the "Eeyores 51th Annual Birthday Party" held in Austin on Saturday the 26th. It's a giant party, and lots of people come wearing outlandish costumes. And they just LOVE having their photo taken...

A senior citizen paints a scene on canvas.
No Photomatix, no Photoshop for him, not even a Canon L lens. Just light, eye measured oil paints and careful strokes of the brush.

This is a life size bronze statue that I photographed in Smithfield, VA. It is Jesus the master artist and creator. I look at nature as a painting of His works. The many values, hues, and composition that He so graciously put together for are viewing pleasure and for the vast resources He provided for our well being. I am a steward of His creation.
A few months ago I was able to catch up with a dear friend who is now living in Portland Oregon. I got to visit her apartment which also serves as her studio. Jurney is one of the most free-spirited genuine people that I know. I also felt it this was truly an artist space. In this photo, Jurney spontaneously started a new painting. It has not been finished yet, it was more of a whim.
Taken in the Ruins of St. Paul's, Macau.
Something happened to this roll of film. It is a Lomography 100, but i do not think the brand has anything to do with it. It was not expired. I was shooting under because I thought the film was ISO400 film, but it should not be liked this.
Does anyone know what happened?
