The umbrella was a new touch and what first caught my eye. This woman was down on Benni's beach but Benni never went near her.
An artist paints the HMB Endeavour at Princes Wharf in Auckland. The full size replica ship was in town as part of the Tuia 250 event, commemorating the 250th anniversary of Captain James Cook’s arrival in New Zealand.
This artist was displaying some of his artistry in Frenchtown, NJ. Looks like he spent as much time painting his car as his paintings.
Joanne Gervais, event artist, covering the Kingston Intercultural Art Festival. Joanne's hands show that she was working with pastels. She said "I have used up three cleaning rags so far today and my hands still look like this."

Here's my lazy entry for pro-artist day.
Even though I didn't get very creative, I wanna say a few things.
This hobby is fueled by our money, our passion and our creative, but if we spend our money on recasts, in the process we'll kill the passion and creativity from the artist and the legit owners as well.

Willem Vermandere and Magda Indigo discuss graphic design and printing methods in Gravelines, Musée du Dessin et de l'Estampe Originale (Drawings and Original Prints Museum). Opened in 1982, this museum of Drawings and Original Prints is the only museum in France devoted solely to original prints.

For every Homer, there were likely thousands of men and women who poured forth their passion with pen, ink and brush—amateurs and professionals, their names and many of their masterpieces lost to history.
This Union soldier appears to be one of the legion of lost artists. We know nothing about him other than he stands with pride beside an illustration of the interior of a fort or perhaps a camp ground. The photograph was taken in December 1864. The scene may be of a military location in the greater Frederick area.
