Issey is eager for us to play Minecraft. To buy time, I ask her to draw or write what she wants us to do. This is how she writes unassisted.

"We rae going too mayck a neww baybee cat" = "We are going to make a new baby cat" (she wants to breed another kitten.)

I'm still impressed that Issey (now nearly 5) can actually read and write to a degree, but also somewhat disheartened by how far she still has to go. Most people wouldn't be able to decipher this. Mouse over the picture for an explanation.

This one's rather similar to a lot of other pieces I've done in the past, but it's still a fun fold, which is probably why I keep doing it. But I try to get it different each time. I'll probably color this one later on to bring out the center molecules (at some point).

My friend, Toby, conceived this figure, half angel, half demon to be the center piece of his moral compass, which I've then designed and drawn. This is a photograph of the 18X24 pencil drawing, edited on Photoshop to look more like Leonardo da Vinci's "Vitruvian Man", which was the piece's inspiration. This is just a bit of fun before the final drawing is executed with its background (coming soon).

The inside of a travel art kit for my nephew. The pocket top is elasticized to keep the crayons and other stuff in. The paper is airmail paper so there are more sheets to color on long trips.

"An area of the Rue Ordener in Paris has become a true museum of contemporary art.

Every day, new graffiti appears. Most importantly, the artists have created something few arists, even (and especially) those in the artists "squats", dare to do : free, ephemeral art."

I arrived in LA Sunday to attend the Adobe Max conference, and decided to explore the city a bit. I happened upon this guy sitting here in front of some street art and asked him for a portrait.

I'm so grateful that sometimes people will indulge you in a moment, it means more than they know.
