this was the sequel to sleeper(also in my artstuff), even though it was executed completely different. as the story went it was what became of the sleeper as he evolved.

art noveau buildings in Riga by Mikhail Eisenstein

 

Mikhail Osipovich Eisenstein, (Russian: Михаил Осипович Эйзенштейн, 1867, St. Petersburg - 1921, Berlin), was a a Russian architect and civil engineer of Baltic German descent. His paternal grandparents being German Jews, had converted to Orthodox Christianity, and his maternal grandparents were Swedes. He graduated from the Institute of Civic Engineering in St. Petersburg in 1893. He was the designer of a number of Art Nouveau buildings in Riga. His projects were characterized by decorative, odd-shaped windows, often with large female head shapes, bright glazed brick or ceramic plates, glass and metal tiles etc.

Fremont Festival Art Cars, Seattle WA

Made by an inmate in the Coffee Creek Correctional Facility, after taking a class by a group of volunteers from CCQuilts that came into the prison to teach.

The toot paints a picture of his family. It's just adorable to me. He's such a gentle kid - it really seems to show here.

Street art on Humberstone Gate

not the Mona Lisa but a Yorkshireman doing a bit of street performing or whatever its called. Presumably its not classed as busking because hes not playing anything?

 

It was pretty amusing, I must say - a bit like Keith Lemon with a frame round.

Talented Placer county employee's art work was displayed at the 4th annual Placer Creates art show.

This 10" round chocolate cake is covered in lemon fondant and decorated with gumpaste flowers, the theme colours are light blue and lavender.

 

The cake is being taken to an art class where the girls party will be, they will draw and paint their interpretation of this cake.
