Pacific Northwest College of Art's second annual Benefit Art Auction with Bonhams & Butterfields raised nearly $125,000 for student scholarships at PNCA. Under the leadership of Honorary Chair Jordan Schnitzer and event co-chairs Elizabeth Leach and Kathleen Lewis, an impressive group of 32 lots were donated for auction. February 18, 2010. Lost art of writing in cursive. There are some grade schools that are no longer teaching cursive to their children. Everyone prints or types. Marc Rossmiller's add and pass "Lost Art."
This is not my art but as we were walking along the track at the Mountain Bike Race this work was prominantly displayed along the street. I'm not a fan of tagging but this was some interesting work.

These are the amazing paintings of the Iranian artist Iman Maleki (born on 1976 in Tehran).
At the age of 15 he started to learn painting. In 1999 he graduated in Graphic Design from the Art University of Tehran.
Since 1998, he has participated in several exhibitions.

an extension of the "Icarus" series I began back in 1978. A series of originally "ill-fated" works due to my ignorant use of Dr. PH Martin's analine -- photosensitive -- dyes! It has taken some 34 years for digital technology to catch up to my original desire/intent to work with pure, saturated color.
Greek myths have fascinated me since age 7. In the icarus series I have abstracted the hero's hapless descent after having flown too close to the sun with wings fashioned from wax and feathers
