Abstract digital art, created in ProCreate (an iPad app.) I usually adjust images I create on my iPad in Photoshop or another software enhancement program, but this was created totally in ProCreate.
I had this app for months, but hadn't played with it much. This was just an experiment. I thought my image had a rather childlike quality that reminded me of a playful dance. I lived in Brazil for several years, so my first thought was that it reminded me of a samba.

Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse ... The door was painted at the request of the books publishers and used for the front cover. Our guide, Mike, had the book. I have searched the web but not found the same cover ...
A further trawl and I did find it but couldn't copy it for here, sorry ...
I really didn't know what to draw when my Mum and Southsea Dave came round for a drawing session, but I was inspired by a painting JJ bought recently by local artist Midge (see teamlocals.co.uk/play-dead-gallery-studio-welcomes-midge/)
Art at the Goldwell Open Air Museum just outside of Rhyolite, Nevada. This is the back of a cement (or some other hard material) couch which is inlaid with tile and shells. A very interesting place!

Since this says this image was taken with my camera, I knew it must be a photo-manipulated image, but I couldn't remember what photo I used to create it.
I always leave the number(s) of the original image(s) in the titles when I save them to my computer, so I found the image and then I realized that I had used an app on my iPad that created a constantly-changing image which I could manipulate. But I couldn't figure out a way to stop the movement or take a screen shot, so I snapped some photos from the screen with my camera.
This image was a composite I created in Photoshop using three different shots.
let me know what you think if you Fav it.

The gallery was showing some impressive Japanese prints from the Edo period, including No 20. The_Great_Wave_off_Kanagawa (c. 1831 -1833) by Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849).
As I have a bit more free time, I thought I would post a shot, and will probably post an odd one or two over the coming weeks. I will return visits, but possibly not immediately. I will try to return all visits made to my stream each day on that day, before 11pm UK time.
